As an ex-food service worker...in a mall...I dealt with a hand full of "Karens" and male Karens- or "Kevins" which I call them -before. Honestly, living with karens is so odd. Their behavior is very different at home, at least in my experience. I mean, I didn't even realize they were karens until a few years ago. My dad went NUTS over face masks in 2020, and my nana is the type to say passive aggressive, rude, judgy shit to service workers if she's even mildly inconvenienced. But aside from some mild entitlement, they act totally normal at home. And about the dinner bit, they absolutely do talk about it at home.
