This show was absolute comic gold. The characters were bizarre and zany, the writing was genius and the plots were dark. Would never have thought comedy could be combined with horror but they did it perfectly. My favourite characters: Tubs, Pauline and Herr lipp.

Oh comedy and horror have been intermingling since the earliest days of the horror genre. Edgar Allan Poe wrote quite a few stories that had a mixture of both and many Calvinist moralists in the Victorian Era wrote stories for children that had heavy handed elements of both.
