He just tries so hard to be as boring as possible. He's as basic as they come, not a single unique thing about that lifestyle. He'll find a boring girl and they'll live a boring life happily ever after. But genuinely, a lot of people would rather off themselves than live like this, myself included.

I think it’s the age difference in the platforms. When I was young I thought my life would be over by 30. 😂 Like all fun and spark for life would end and I could just lay down and die. Young people crave wild and crazy lives. They don’t realize that there’s a reason why older people seem more boring. Because the wild and crazy lives, unless you’re born rich or are very lucky, isn’t usually a stable or sustainable life.

@@jeremytaylor4081 I’m not an expert at life but one idea I thought of is maybe in your free time take a course for cyber security. they got some 12 week ones, 6 week ones, you know where I’m getting at. Then get ur certification and get a gig. Although I’m in uni, my professor, who works for Cisco a networking company; did that and went from a manager at five guys (not very tech savvy)to making some real money once he got his certification and hunted for a gig on his free time. It doesn’t have to be cyber security it can be other tech things or something else that has a boot camp. A lot of people get overwhelmed in the beginning, but that’s just the field humbling you and showing you where u stand in terms of skill and knowledge. Everything is built up. People who look like they have talent in the beginning jus have different starting points then u, it’s how u finish the race.

When I get home at roughly 12, sometimes I take a nap until 4 pm. They bring in about 15 printers daily to repair/service and because I'm so good at what I do, I get them all up and running by 10. Then I just hang with the staff until home time lol Edit: I couldn't ask for a better salary, it's so good.

Yes I go to school, go to work, study, go to sleep but there’s something beautiful about routine and if I romanticise my life I find myself genuinely happy and content. Edit: thank you to those who understand my point but I would like to clarify by saying I know my life is not the best it could be, I’m not wealthy, I don’t go on adventures, but I’m grateful for the humble beauty that is simplicity. I have what I need and I’m just fine with that. Sure I would love to have more, but that’s not what life’s about for me. Im living this same life. And yes it peaceful but not complete. Its feels like we are robots. Everything becomes unrealistic like sometimes we dont even realise that we took a bath because our body was automatically doing the thing while our mind was thinking about life. We forget what we ate for lunch. Its a loop and it feels unreal. But i know even this life is blessing for many and i am grateful i made it to this point in my 20s and still grinding cause i know this isnt all.

I actually love this. People assume that a traditional job is sad and boring, but my father lives this way, and he still makes time for himself. Keep working hard dude! Edit: I think I started a war. @@floppycopy1284 If you want to pursue your ambitions and hobbies you'll need money, so find a job that pays well and gives you enough time to pursue said things and you'll be able to live very freely. Jobs are not shackles unless you are in debt and even then you'll need to make money to be free of it, they are means to gain the tool that is money and with money you can do things that are interesting and valuable to you. Situations change for everyone but at the end of the day we need money to survive in a society, but that doesn't mean you need to struggle and starve to get by. Not unless you rushed things and became a parent before you were financially ready, have spending habits that outweigh your income, or live in a place like NYC where your rent is well above the reasonable charge where the rent is the same or above the cost of renting a full 2 story house with a finished basement and 2 and a half baths or more. (That last one is a real story and a common one from what I hear, the rent is insane man).
