I see him vs Cody on night 1 and Cena wins the title. Night 2, rematch, Cody wins it back hence the torch passing making Cody the new People's champ just like Rock and Cena did yrs ago. Cena breaks Flairs record and leaves the PEOPLE in Cody's capable hands. Sounds corny but I can see WWE doing it.

absolutely ridiculous take almost laughable😂😂😂. They can always give Gunther to Cena and let him win the title if they want to break the record. Cena doesn’t need a victory over Cody because it will hurt Cody’s momentum. Instead Cody should go over Cena as it will push his career to the moon which is both logical and reasonable.
