each time I get to the end of a cycle, I prove to myself that what the speaker is sharing is wholly accurate. I have tried with those far remote from me to those who are closest to me and the result is the same = only until I release the image, the attachment, the expectation, can I find peace. All attempts outside of that are futile.

You've just described a common ego defense mechanism. It uses self-doubt and limiting beliefs to prevent action. However, these are just thoughts, and they don't define who you are.

It's like going somewhere you have never been before. If you book a holiday to somewhere you have never been before, everything looks fresh, different and exciting. There is an element of not knowing where the path leads over a mountain, forest or town. Nothing can be compared to the past as you've never walked these holiday paths before, they are brand new. The paths everybody walk in their daily lives are familiar, walked almost on auto pilot, and certainly not fresh, different or exciting. Unless of course you don't look along the path, or blindly rush along it, look up periodically at the sky, feel the weight of your body on each footstep you take, and breathe slowly, if your heart is racing your thinking, or walking to fast, that's the cue to slow down. But always keep an eye out for dog poop, it can cause you to slip backwards!

I wish JK had given an example of observing the Now as an Observer and without the Observer. Bcos, a lot of what JK says has a context to it and missing any of it gets us to interpret him incorrectly. I just seek hopefully the Me within will help in understanding JK.

Krishnamurti was wrong when he said there is no one to guide you. My Master had a guru or teacher or guide. Yogananda also had a teacher or Guru. A true guru leads the other person towards the Light/Truth/God/Self. Not many people could follow Krishnamurti.
