@@AMHoops There is no real confirmation, just speculation but if you look at Gary Parrish's mock draft after that incident, it shows GG Jackson slipping a ton after that Whitmore was still sitting at number 4, so it couldn't have been Whitmore who got caught vaping.

I was wondering why GG slid to the second round. I’m sure he had higher aspirations of being a lottery pick but he should have stayed in his class and stuck with UNC. NBA is a professional league where men get paid for a living. 17 year old is young by NBA standards forget about a college team. His natural talent will only carry him so far. The NBA is so narrative driven. I watched GG Jackson play last night against the #1 Wolves (nationally televised game) and he was shooting quite a bit of 3-pointers. He missed every shot he took. And it wasn't that when he shot he missed, but his shots were barely hitting the rim. I'm not trying to deface the guy. He's not even twenty. But this hype is very unwarranted. Jackson had one good game against a pathetic Warriors squad. I think it's fair to move on unless he can sustain some kind of reasonable output either on offense or defense.
