This game is based on a story called journey through the west, their character which you are playing as “son wukong” is also called Goku, from the original book and this games origin inspired the dragon ball series in its entirety, that’s why you see a nimbus in there. And many other characters in this game are the inspiration for other characters in dragon ball too.
