I am born and raised in Peshawar. 1st language Pashto. Have so many friends from tribal areas. In my life time I have come across so many zarghonas. In a real pakhtoon household the authority is always the lady of the house. By no means pakhtoon women are west or oppressed. I am so happy to see such a character on screen. And Sania saeed is the best actor for this character. Love her work.

She comes from an intellectual, educated family. She’s from the elite. Her thought process is rare and won’t relate to majority of our country’s people - and it’s clear she has to restrain herself from sharing it. But one thing for sure she has carried herself with complete class throughout her career and has never put herself in any controversy, which is rare. I can imagine that meant she has to keep quiet especially in today’s times. I hope the younger generation learn something from her. Regardless of their opinion, whether it is right or wrong, whatever political leaning, sometimes it’s not necessary to have an opinion on everything or share it, which the current generation do not get

For some reason I stopped watching sang e mah after the initial episodes. It didn't connect with me, it has a great story but sheherzaad track made it very unreal and hilmands conversation just being shayaris made it annoying like sometimes talk normally man! However I feel actors have done a great job.

I know right? Sheherzaad comes from nowhere and starts living with an unknown family and in no time is being shared with all the private family issues. Do things like this happen? Farfetched. Atif acting for the first time is ok, he does not look naïve. The only thing that is new is the concept of Ghag, otherwise the plot if not predictable, is not unfamiliar either. Sania Saeed's performance is very good, all others are ok. Treatment of the drama is good, similar to Sang e Mar Mar. All in all, it is not an outstanding drama but with the kind of dramas that have been produced this year, this one is just different (or maybe not if you have watched Sang e Mar Mar).
