If you all stop crying when clearly overpowered stuff gets nerfed, maybe Blizzard will be more inclined to actually balance the game. The idea that you should only buff things up to compete with the best stuff is part of how we get here, it's a terrible way to balance and so many players ask for games to be balanced this way. Brain rot. On top of all this the gear is just way too good already. We knew this would be a problem, but it seems like the power creep is happening way faster than anyone expected, Blizzard needs to come up with a better way to address this beyond just "passively give everyone huge health pools in pvp".

I really like the STV event but since I’m done with the coin items it kinda kills the incentive to go back in, it would be cool if for every 100 copper we can buy a chest that has random trade goods or even a on use items that increase magic find type buff. Humanoid mobs would drop more cloth,silver, BoEs and herb/mine/skinning would give more mats.

I think they should add the AB logs that you can buy for blood tokens as a loot item within dungeons similar to waylaid supplies. It allows the PVE guys farm the PVP epics Now obviously not on trash drops or mages/hunters will somehow aoe farm them down and make it so rare nobody else would want to grind them

Not confirmed but rumors say, that in P3 we will have that. It is already confirmed that we will have a 20 men raid in P3, but it is unknow which duneon it will be. Possibly a brand new one, not a rewamped, like BFD or Gnomeregan. Maybe Karahzan Crypts? Maybe a brand new wing of SM? We'll see. Not confirmed, but data mining suggests that Sunken Temple will appear as a 10 men raid. So at the moment it seems we will have a 10 men ST and an unknown 20 men raid.

What is kinda busted is the fact that as a shaman tank I’m pulling 800dps (shockanawe) and the next highest in the guild is maybe 650. Is it fun yes, but does it make sense, no. They need to stop buffing shit and making these new tunes scales so badly. PvP is a joke, and the fact that my group and guild clears Gnomer in 20-25 mins is depressing.

I agree. AB rep is atrocious to get if you aren't doing STV for the logs. WSG is even worse, but is a bit better with Ashenvale if it didn't stop at revered. Waylaid supplies drop rates seem to be extremely low at 40. I got quite a few leveling up but even after I went back to knock out the lower level quests for cash I don't think I ever saw a box drop from level 30-37 mobs.

Farming rep to 21,000 for revered when you only get 33 honor (as a solo queuer) for a 20+ minutes BG, and sometimes 100 when not facing premades/lucky and 1000 weekly with drums quest feels horrible, don't even know if I'll make it. And if you think about alt accounts that feels totally out of question to farm that massive amount of rep so slowly on alt accounts too. Something need to be done on that regard.

As a rogue main, I have been saying that we should get a New Poison that applies one stack of Sunder Armor on the enemy; that Stacks with Warrior Sunder Armor! It would let Rogue bring utility without hurting our DPS. Also, it could be cool if they changed how Redirect works as personally I never get an opportunity to use it. MAYBE if it was a 30s buff on yourself to store Combo Points on the rogue, not on the enemy's. Would help when switching to kill adds or eggs on boss fights.

The exp and gold buff is very nice. However, building up rep is pretty hard now. Quests go into gray status pretty fast and reward very low rep (like 15 rep vs 250 rep). Blizzard should add the change that even gray quests still reward the amount of rep you would get from a green status quest.

the problem with feral cat and bear is scaling. They simply dont scale at all because all gear just gets converted to stats. The more gear they get doesn't really translate to more damage like other melee. Weapons not counting is the main problem. It will only get worse, its not a case of getting key items. They would need support in the form of either weapon scaling or massive item changes to make them viable. In cats case, a massive reduction in mana cost to forms would greatly help with powershifting. They only implemented half of King of the Jungle from Wotlk blizzard forgot about the other half of that rune.

getting shafted by having wolfshead helm not available in the phase it would be by far the strongest, tank rune and windfury rune sharing a slot so that you have to choose whether to actually use the tank rune or give your team WF, leg tank rune only being skullbash which shares a cooldown with charge, mangle and lacerate sharing a slot. an EXTRA kick in the teeth related to the wolfshead missing is that the LWing hat is so RIDICULOUSLY higher power than the next available option. the BiS outside of being leatherworker is a green world drop. At least phase 1 there were decent glove options that dropped in raid that meant you weren't too far behind LWing. being punished for not being a LWer when part of the mantra is to be able to play your way and i'm loving being alch/herb. I'm having fun with SoD, but the devs spend so little time actually holistically looking at things. it's driving me nuts.

@randomhero123 I was able to pug BFD every lock out and got my bis items. I work a rotating schedule where I can't dedicate any specific time to a raid so pug is my only option because I go when I can. Phase 1 was awesome for that, now phase 2 is causing too many try hards to block people because they won't just buff ret in a normal way like reducing the cd of crusader strike or making the strikes proc command. They buff a seal that shares a slot with divine storm that doesn't do anything until you have a rare weapon from the end game raid.

Bears could use Thrash. Great aoe threat and solid damage. Or maybe learn more into combining them with balance like with Sun Fire. Allow them to fire off thorns to enemies in a 10 yard radius or the like. The animation for the snake trap dot application or the altered version of thorns in cata could even be used. Then just fix the placement of the abilities on the glyphs. Why this hasn't already been addressed is something that just baffles me. It is such a simple-seeming solution to a major problem with a spec. I don't even play a druid and this irritates me.

I grinded out my WSG wrists as a Warlock Tank and the amount of damage that Shamans put out is actually completely insane right now. I had to spec into demonology for Soul Link just to not get 1 shot by them, and even then they still messed me up. I know they are supposed to be super bursty in damage but I feel it needs to be toned back a bit when I get one shot by a lava burst chain lighting cast as a tank lock.

A good mage / hunter / warlock / boomkin should demolish an enhancement shaman.

Always felt that mmo's which claim to offer a minimum serious level of pvp must have ALL their design choices driven by pvp issues, pve will follow cause its way easier to tune. Balance should only be based on pvp, then you tune PvE. Surely its not that easy, but comon' MC was made by 1 dude in 2 night and raid stayed prety much the same over the time (just has been tuned I guess on resists and other variables). I don't want classes that become inherently broken or useless in PvP because of PvE 'performances' or 'viability' issues. Cause performance in PvE is always relative. Flip the problem pls. Best example (for me) is GW1 : core design on a pvp baseline (mix between Magic's cards for skill system and crpg mechanics) then they wrapped it in an awesome story-driven mmo. Result is you had a good mmo with a perfect PvP. Only game I played which had 'PvE version' for some skills.

I’m sorry what utility does shaman bring to the raid lol , no buffs, no cc, no lifesaving defensives, no passive healing, no taunt , no dispel , no mobilityno pets, we have a 3 second cast heal that is useless unless used with spending maelstrom stacks and then our dps significantly drops , oh and we have a totem that gives everyone mp5 . Any useful “utility” other than a resistance totem and shamanistic rage is pvp such as decoy, grounding, purge, tremor, ghost wolf, healing with maelstrom stacks (bc you won’t parse if your “utilizing” your healing in a raid) frost shock /earthbind etc. If any shaman nerf it should be just for pvp because we have no utility on a raid boss. Oh I forgot about windfury totem , maybe just buff feral ..? I suppose we have a strength totem and we have a kick that cs’s for a whopping 2 seconds that you have to throw your rotation away in order to utilize. xD gimme a break.. pft shaman utility in pve 🤣😆

@@TheComebackKids shamanistic rage only gives 20%of the bonus to party members and no one is oom in these fights anymore, druids also have windfury and it takes up your nature resistance totem , so bye bye nature res if your doing windfury, earth elemental doesn’t exist in p2 , you can’t use most of your “stat” buff totems and keep your resistance totems up bc they share water/air like grace of air and windfury or disease cleane and mp3 since were talking about abilites from lvl 60, spirit of the alpha is good for your tank if he’s bad and can’t hold threat on his own I guess ? And like I already said your dps drops significantly if you spent stacks on healing instead of chain lightning . We have strength of earth[1/4]searing totem [2/4], windfury [3/4], and a choice water totem either cleanse or fire resistance for [4/4]. Are you sure you main shaman ? Open world pvp and your personal experience is entirely irrelevant. I personally never saw an ally raid to kill horde on my server. The reality is when shaman and palladin are balanced, horde loses almost all bgs. So blizzard makes shammies do 2x damage paladins do, 1.5x damage of other top classes. Thats the only way they enable horde win and its pitiful.

Our inflated number in damage is one of the reasons I suggested to Blizz to downsize the lvl 60 raids. i.e. 40 man to 20 man and 20 man to 10 man. Also as a warrior main I have always loved dungeoneering and to tank them. I was fully aware it was a struggle in Vanilla to tank as warrior but the runes in SoD gave me hope. However, after 1.5 phase its still a struggle and here is the things I have observed. DPS has inflated numbers, like the rest of us, and they have a retail-like mentality. What I mean by that?: When I start my pull, less than 1 sec after, dps is hammering away and I have no chance to build aggro nor rage. Giving me no chance to gather everything up again. I suggested to Blizz to give Defensive Stance more threat generation when using shield.

This has been an interesting experience for sure but there's so many things that just suck. A whole Rep faction locked behind making phase 1 gold buyers more rich. Wsg and AB ignored in favor of PVE World events(no, Blood Moon isn't wpvp it's a slot machine) granting that pvp rewards without ever having to pvp. Incessant alliance ganking in horde quest areas (I shouldn't have rolled horde on a pvp server knowing that horde don't take pvp seriously anymore ) and gatekeeping even in low level dungeons is so f*cking annoying. I am going to check out Cata because that was my peak time playing wow so it will be nice to run some of those dungeons again, one more time. It's been fun. But not real fun. I'm really just biding my time till Shadows of the Erdtree comes out.

So no talk about the buffs to shamies have just destroyed AB in PVP. Look how many ABs there are now the horde winning now... It's crazy. In buffing a class ONLY HORDE in which affects all their specs has thrown the alliance/horde balance COMPLETLY out. If you're an alliance now you know you're going to lose and lose you do. Out of 20 ABs I did, I lost 17 which in hearing the PVP community it will mean people leaving. Its not that shammies got buffed which I do think needs to be pulled back ... but the fact that such big buffs to ONLY HORDE toon is just destroying the PVP

Tank Rogues could use a glyph that alters stealth. Instead of making them harder to see, maybe it makes them harder to hit? While in "insert fancy stealth-stance type name here" your threat is increased by X, your dodge is increased by X, and your health is increased by X while your dps is decreased by X." Call it Enshroud or something. It replaces basic stealth, it alters Vanish to give you a threat boost, maybe an aoe-type threat ability like challenging roar/shout. Add Smoke Bomb to tank rogue's toolkit. Also, give them a poison aoe option. Poison Vial or something. They throw the poison at a targeted location, it explodes, poisoning the mobs in a radius. Adds a high-threat dot, maybe works like a weaker version of thunderclap and/or demo shout.

As a prot pally, we have ONE rune that we "can" use (none use aegis because martyr, horn and even DS are better) that gives some sort of mitigation (taunt rune gives mitigation when low hp) and we dont have any CD to reduce incoming dmg, only skip skippable mechanics. Block is bad as direct dmg reduction (str scaling is bad 20-1 and low block rating from items and from defense) but is good for reducing crits to happen (but we still dont have enough avoidance). In the end, other tanks have crit immunity without high defense, got a huge armor multiplier while plate gear have reduced stats for the budget that armor takes.

Sure, blocking 30 dmg cause you have 0 blockvalue is great when you tank 20 mobs, not so much when a boss hits you for 600. All other tanks get equivelant dr to the conditional HoR DR only they have it all the time (not warriors) and who runs holy shield?? Literally less than 1% of all tank logs anyways.. because deep prot offers nothing, so going holy or ret for dmg is better. RF gives no DR. So you have conditional dr when low hp and block wich is close to doing nothing when DR actually matters - tanking raid bosses.

Yeah scaling is an issue, one we have all been talking about since we saw the loot in bfd. But I'm getting no where close to a 5000 damage crit. And being a warrior if they buff all boss armor like it was here in gnomer I might reroll. I don't play lock but from what I understand chaos bolt is an outlier. Maybe instead of nerfing everyone we can just start with that ability?

Warriors can MT in Fury for now and it's fine....it sucks to not have improved shield block but that's the only downside because somehow warriors have now become the only tanks that aren't crit immune so spike damage can be a problem. I doubt there's many warriors tanking in prot. Even with a shield you're better off in Fury than Prot atm IMO based on personal experience... I have tanked in both specs and the threat just isn't there in Prot if you have melee dps parsing high.

They need to STOP buffing shaman nonstop and pay attention to all the other specs for classes that don't ever get played because they are so badly optimized and ignored. Right now it seems like if you play a class there's only 1 spec that's effective and if you don't play that spec your effectiveness as a healer/dps/tank is in the toilet. Worst DPS spec in the game is Affliction Warlock, not Frost mage, it's not even on the list whatsoever it's so bad.

Add a world pvp reputation system. That would be the truest classic feel. So you get rep equal to honor gained. It will have to include a drastic reduction if your in a party or raid to avoid mass armies. Think about it. The best classic and vanilla pvp videos are open world.

Didn't even mention Frost mage? Frost has been completely ignored and been under most tank DPS since P1. They shouldn't be near the top of the meters at all but below tanks as a DPS spec is just horrible. Common Arguments: "Just play fire" - this argument is just plain stupid, why even have specs if you cannot play them without griefing your raidmates. In an RPG you should be able to play the role you want to play in the game. "But that's because they are a PvP spec" - In Era, Frost mages were one of the very best in PvP, in SoD there is so much more utility, mobility, and burst. Control has never been lower for Frost mage and they have pathetic damage and Ice Barrier is Era Values so it absorbs 50% of one ability now. All of their damage comes from Fire Runes, all of the best PvP mages play Fire. Arcane one shot is awful non-gameplay that should be nerfed. "Well you can still AoE Farm!" - This was also true in Era, they were 2nd to none. In SoD hunters outpace Mages as the best AoE Farmer in SoD. Much lower skill requirement to solo pull SM: Cathedral, Uldamon, and the only class that can kill skull mobs reliably because of ranged physical hit. Every class is MUCH better than they were in Era at farming. Fire mages are much better at AoE Farming than Frost right now. No one uses Ice Lance, Fingers of Frost, Icy Veins, or any Frost runes because they are all incredibly weak. If you don't even consider them a DPS spec you are right, they don't deal damage at all, they don't do anything.

Well developers sux, moust recycling spells/classes from retail and offer unfinished thinks. Realy disapointed by P2 and runes. If datamined new coming runes is true, non worth pay subscription anymore. Example: warlock demon form have 0 added animations just recycled from WOTLK. Grimoire of Synergy - 0 animation or even sound when you use it with no timer for notice how much time buff left. I like destro warlock, funn rotation wich do nice chunk of dmg. I hope they add some filler spell to demology tree for these who dont want use it for tanking. I like idea of tanking demon. Totaly boring arcane mage rotation and spec wich totaly disapointed me. Fun enhancement shaman. Aprove. Like idea of tanking shaman. I rly enjoy gnomeregan, while 3 weeks i dont have loot, becose all cloth is taken by other armor users (mail, leather...) Im glad, horde heavent paladin yet to steal my stuff. Just add some lootable tokens/currency, to exchange certain amount for raid items. For your point @1:17 I'm just tired of hearing this and for the following reasons. 1. Retail is not enjoyable and has its own problems without any real crossover appeal between the communities, I mean it’s the whole reason that we even have a Classic to begin with and its because a large portion of community rejected Retail in its entirety. 2. WOTLK is dying because there’s bleed over with SoD aswell as the fact everyone’s progressing to Cataclysm which was always a hugely divided expansion especially amongst the classic community and is kind of pointless to invest in if you don’t wanna play further with no option to continue within WOTLK. 3. Hardcore is super niche and has always had a small but vocal community only really made popular by streamers. 4. Classic Era has even more of a smaller and niche community that are just playing on already progressed servers, a large portion of which I bet would love for just a Classic fresh server. 5. SoD is currently in a complete unbalanced messed, classes are overtuned or underwhelming, faction balance is fucked, no reason to run dungeons, and there’s simply not enough content in the phase to justify its lengths and this is only becoming and increasing problem with further phases until endgame.

I think pvp is sooo underused in SOD. The grind is long and not really rewarding. People farming stv lumber instead of Arathi gives me headaches. PvP reward should be available to players that actually do BG. Open world pvp content should have its own set of reward and shouldn’t be a replacement for classic bg. Gives us more rep per victory. Give us simple daily quest like “kill X opposite players”, “heal X allies above 50% of their hp”, “get 5 victories”. Those quest could give rep after revered. I hate that STV and Ashenvale don’t give you reward usable in BG. STV lumber and Ashenvale drum shouldn’t give flat rep, they should give a buff that increases rep gained inside bg for a set amount of time. That would push people to go inside bg and they could have the freedom to choose when they go in BG. They could also change the system and make the token you get after each game tradeble to the BG vendor. PvP gear would be bought with this token instead of gold and rep cap. Ashenvale and STV could give a buff that increases the amount of token you get for the day. Give us more pvp gear as bis or at least prebis. Finally, alt friendly content should be awarded only to players that already have at least one “normal leveled” character. What do you think ? Love to have your opinion on it guys !

Warrior needs buffs... no im not crying cause im not top dps... its misery in 1v1 scenarios.. you die to ANYONE aslong as they know how to press buttons, so id like something thats more towards pvp... and also.. revert the devastate nerf.. the "buff" it got still isnt enough dmg to let us keep aggro, for aoe, what they could do is buff furious thunder and make it more like Blood and Thunder (applies deep wound or rend to all targets) this could help on aoe threat. and just buff threat gen from sunder/devastate by 100% there, now warriors are able to hold aggro, but our dmg isnt ridiculous for 1button spam as in p1

Good video but you're way off about prot paladin. "Deal really good damage and have incredible runes that give a lot of damage mitigation" - We have one rune that gives a 10% chance to give 30% extra block chance (block takes about 45 damage off of a melee hit) for 5 hits. Doesn't stack with the talent that does almost the exact same thing. Sacred shield is a healer rune and divine sacrifice isn't used by any spec (it's a suicide button). Even if Aegis was worth using, it's sams slot as Seal of Martyrdom, which is the only reason paladin tanks are doing even middling damage as a tank. You think that paladins can do good damage and be tanky, but those things are mutually exclusive right now. You can choose a spec and runes to do good damage and be squishy, or you can choose a spec and runes that do shit damage while being slightly tankier.

Thoughts about giving Skinning/Herbalism/Mining a soulbound item (item requires 225 of a proffesion too to use for instance too) that drops rarely from their respective gathers that perhaps gives a small buff like +1% crit or +10 (stacking) stamina, or maybe a consumable like whipper tuber root. Honestly anything at all to make people want to actually use fun proffesion combos that make sense

Good video guys, happy to see you covering tanks now as well :) I think SoD is great fun and has been an epic way to test/see changes to classes, but the exp buff is crazy, people whine and whine till they get the changes that they demand and then it ruins the game ^^ classic levelling is a huge part of the game! being able to blast 6-8+ lvl's between 35-40 in under a day is pure madness, then ya had people whining about mount cost because they didn't want to or couldn't be bothered to grind some gold... it's the age old... *I can't be bothered playing the game, spoon feed me...waaaah* i love that they are listening to the community on development ideas and changes, but they have to be prepared to firmly say...NO ^^ and to the people that are gonna comment saying stuff like *i don't have the time, i love the exp boost* it's an mmorpg sand box game ^^ if you don't have an hour a day to pewpew then what ya doing playing this game ?^^

the ederofempires idea - guild quests - that sounds like the tier 0.5 quests expanded a lot. it's something that got basically ignored for classic because of the known difficulty and ease of clearing MC/AQ20/ZG/BWL on release.

I am so glad you mention the complexity and lack of feral druid damage! I am so frustrated that feral druid have so much they need to consider during their damage rotation, and not seeing the reward from excuting it well. I love that it is complex = fun and chalanging. It is just lowsy that it does not pay off. I would velcome a buff to druid bleed effects, as it is very thematic, and will not break pvp bursts. One thought is to increase bleed effects applied during tigers fury a 100% increased damage. This would reward the skillfull player, and not yield crasy pvp bursts

The fact that you won't be invited as a MM hunter/Rogue/warrior or something barely outside the top dps is just a braindead thing that the community does. I've cleared Gnomer with tons of varied comps that do just fine. The content isn't so hard that you need to always have the perfect class/spec combos to clear it or get the gear. (More than that -- I've had plenty of absolute dogshit fire mages who don't come close to a better playing rogue/hunter/etc) Play what you want. Let others come into your raid and make up for "deficiencies" with good communication and following mechanics. One of the worst and most toxic traits of the wow community overall that is mostly just not necessary.

As an enhance main from vanilla-wotlk I felt like it was almost overdue for a buff like this. Enhance was always weak in its on ways you almost just felt like a buff I only continued playing because I loved the abilities of shaman. But damage was always lackluster. So I don’t feel like any changes should be made. SOD is about change which will change the Meta as well. Last thing we need is 10 warriors in a 20 man raid.

You mentioned the Warcraft sub being pretty good bang for buck right now, but it's like an all you can eat buffet that only serves chicken dinners. Yes I like chicken and there's lots of ways to enjoy it but chicken everyday is getting kinda old. Tinker here.. fiddle there .. some sauce to change the flavor, but it's still the same old chicken. Retail is a flavor change but still ...chicken...Someone please recommend a game that isn't a 20 year old rehash.

Regarding waylaid supplies and rep with horde logistics or alliance commerce authority, what about some dailies/weekly quests that are timed and require you to go and “deliver” certain supplies to very specific places in Azeroth. For example picking up a quest in Stormwind and having to trek your way to the raceway in Shimmering Flats without flight paths or teleports.
