This game goes crazy because you unlock half the deck of 2 other characters in card pool by just upgrading to a new mana color. In slay the spire there is like only 1 relic which can do that but you can't choose which character's cards to borrow

Yeah it is really such a cool mechanic. Although actually you have to choose the relic that specifically says it adds another character's cards (you always get a relic for the boss you fight in act 1 as an option). Each character also has some cards that can only drop if you upgrade their mana pool into colors they don't start with!

The same thing that the headless horseman is 1:21:44 she’s not human and that’s just part of her body same as an arm or a leg. Without getting into it she can read people’s minds and why she’s a psychologist

7:44 A quick search mention me she's based on the rokurokubi/nukekubi youkais. So yeah, when you include monsters in your game, stuff will look weird at face value. 1:21:30 Yeah Satori is a satori and that eye thing is her third eye. I believe it's with it she reads mind?

21:43 In the Late night barbacue event, if you refuse to pay, then later in act 3, you will meet an elite called Ekishiki at 1:15:54. She is a judgement that will hit harder if she consider your sin "high". If you pay normally, then your sin will be "average". P/s: There is a hidden act 4 boss in this game called Seija, just like Corrupted Heart in Slay the spire. To go to act 4, you have to take "Hi tech glasses" from Reisen event at 18:45. Then you have to trade it for the "game console" in the Kourindou event in act 2 at 37:50, which you did not do. Then trade the game console for the "Eye cream" at Sumireko event in act 3 at 1:10:43. Finally, trade the Eye cream for Yukari at any gap (rest site) in act 3 for the " Border sensor". And if you have the border sensor, then the act 4 will be unlocked.

I love how Zun just allows anyone to make games with Touhou. It has lead to so many interesting ideas. A lot of garbage sure, but that can be ignored to play the good stuff instead.

If I recall correctly, the only thing that he doesn't allow is reusing anything official, but pretty sure that's common sense. As long as the artwork and music is not a direct one for one copy of the original, there's no problem.

For the true ending you need to do all characters trade. You refused the glasses for the game

There is a couple of ways to get it, but that is the only consistent one as the other's rely on Events.

It was fun seeing you going from seeing charge as a passive accumulation to a buff you activate. Also, if you do try another run, all the characters have off-color cards that are fun to use. The only thing is that it requires you have off-color exhibits to even see them.

18:45 Is that a Magic the Gathering reference? XD 20:50 Like in Slay the Spire, multi-hitting attacks scale more from power boost you get. That can be one way to scale enough to beat bosses. 1:02:55 In this context, the life loss is negligible considering that you don't spam spell cards and that you get extra mana and card draw in exchange.

If there's one thing I've noticed about LBoL, the devs LOVE Magic: the Gathering. They looked at Slay the Spire and said "you know what's missing? Mana colors and Planeswalkers!"

I'm pretty sure there is a mod for Slay the Spire that adds this character as an option, I distinctly remember that "Charge" card ability she had. I wonder if that dev worked on this!

I don't believe so, since the "Charge" is more of a direct Touhou reference since she is focused around charging up her attacks. Sure, it's possible that the Dev that made this game got the idea from the mod, but I don't believe it's the same person.

The OST can be found on youtube if you search for Touhou Lost Branch of Legend OST, but I agree I’d love to be able to get it as a separate download.

Been playing for more than 200 hours and let me tell you there's so much mechanics to this game is absurd, the game is extremely difficult on Lunatic 7 but it's just so fun, i highly recommend everyone to get the game when is cheap now, future update include 2 new characters and cards.

the girl that threw her head is a youkai in japanese folklore. kinda similar to western dullahan. Japanese folklore contains lots more weirdo, touhou took some of them and make them attractive. There is akaname who hides in bathroom to lick up filth as their sustenance. kappa a cucumber loving turtle man who can take people's soul from their asshole.

Just going to say this, but shoots are actually good because you often have spare mana, it's the character specific basic attacks/blocks you want to purge first.
