I'll probably be annoying here but...Anatomy is 99% memorization, though. Knowledgibility is not the same as intelligence, but they may be correlated. Physiology is the opposite, it's 99% conceptual. I did better in Physiology than in anatomy, as I suck at rote memorization.

​@@septicaemiaussus5875 Anatomy. Draw. Draw. Try to track these muscles, bones on yourself. It helps. Physiology - it's a process. It's not horrible. Rather than trying to memorize each and every fact find a process and work it out. Practice questions, don't go long periods without revision, talk to seniors. Use KZbin videos, Anatomy dissections prepare before and read after. Use Ross and Wilson's if you struggling - it helps a lot. Finally do what works for you

@@localmilfchaser6938 In med school the basic 2 years have labs no matter what Residency which is specialty training has labs for specific specialties for example a surgeon or a family med doc doesn't have to do labs

Well if it's a GI/GU anatomy lab, its very likely first year med students, learning the anatomy. Some of them for the first time ever. I am always astounded and in some cases downright annoyed that people don't even understand the very basics of how their body works lol. But fir the slip up: there are plenty of people in med school who earned degrees in other stuff and don't have a lot of anatomy. Now before med school, I was a nurse and I always would work with doctors and they would do the stupidest shit, the worst common sense. But now in 4th year...I get it. Your brain is so packed with shit for step 1 +2 that basics fall right out. I forget what the names of colors are...so
