What are the cleanup crew eating in a freshly cycled tank?

Not a whole lot. But there's nitrate and light, so there's algae. May not be a ton but it's growing and the CUC will have food. He has a very small crew for 100 gallon tank

How frequently should I test the Salinity?

If no large changes to the tank like a water change etc. You should check it every month or so

There are a couple extra diodes and so a little more par but almost no one runs them at 100 percent so I typically recommend the non pro

Can I use a penguin 350 for 5 feet by 2 feet 2 feet reef aquarium or do I need something more powerful , plz suggest

I've never used a power filter for a reef tank. Doesn't mean you can't but I would have two for a tank that size and I would add a HOB skimmer

It will be yes. I can tell you he has some corals present state and they are all named corals mostly softies right now but will be adding hard corals soon

All cool stuff, but I’m puzzled as to why manufacturers, especially high-end like Red Sea, still build such short stands. Who wants to bend down to enjoy their tank? IMHO I would want the top of the tank to be close to the same height as me.
