Bolero was such a good choice of music for this. It's such an exploration of (tone) color, plus I personally see Bolero as a very "orange-y" kind of piece to begin with. Also, the steady build to a raucous conclusion fits perfectly with the way you typically build to the (nearly) shouty bits. And you did so well to build your commentary right along with the music. I can't even begin to imagine how long it took to get your pacing to sync up just right with it, but it was definitely worth it.

When I was a sprout a teacher explained that white was an effect of all light being present and black being the absence of light. (I.e. all wavelengths being either reflected or absorbed by the object in question, then interpreted by chemicals in our brains) When I understood it occurred to me that the only substance that could be defined as light either present or absent was light itself. Like my peers discovering santa does not exist this idea that black and white simply do not exist outside of this inexact individual interpretation of a substance that itself is invisible without something to bounce off of in the first place... changed me forever. I was in 3rd grade art class the day I was born, and it was a very long time indeed before I learned I had not been born into the world alone. It would have been a comfort if anyone else had been distressed by this with me, so i could indulge a panic attack that had to instead be obediently stamped out without anyone noticing. They all seemed mad to me quietly pretending to listen because it did not matter to them that everything they saw was a sloppy faximile of what might really be in front of them. I had monsters under my bed and now there was no way to know for sure that I hadn't seen them.

The typical exurb1a video goes as follows Englishman talks about everyday experience. Englishman begins a tangent that leads him to a scientific question. Englishman gets increasingly loud as he transitions from scientific questioning to existencial dread. After screaming, the Englishman calms down and tries to lead the tangent back to where he started somehow having learned something along the way. Englishman gets too calm and cozy so he cracks a funny. Classical music over endcard.

Would it be better if i was on auto pilot and my memory stopped recording everything?” But i tend to think. That i prefer being able to decide and remember my experiences. I think it actually depends on your mindset. An optimist and a pessimist will look at it differently. For some I guess they'll feel like we were just put here to suffer and consciousness is a curse, for some is the opposite and a blessing. The mystery could lead to other answers, but some won't necassarily be good, and some might feep the fact that we don't even get to understand our consciouseness is a curse. I personally find all the video's on this channel inspiring and often watch them when I feel unmotivated. But some like this are a definate emotional grey area to me as the perception topics seem inherently tied to our already existing perception of life and ourselves as individuals and as a collective. Oh, also some people kind of just freak out with meaning of life topics almost like a phobia. Also, also, one day there will be no mysteries left is a pretty sad thought that was mentioned.
