Regarding the whole “displacing air molecules when teleporting” bit; I like how in the Castlevania Netflix series, whenever Dracula’s castle “moves” (teleports) from place to place, they do actually depict the catastrophic effects that the vacuum and displacement caused by the teleportation has on the immediate vicinity. Gale force winds ripping trees from the ground, leveling buildings and shredding nearby human & animal life; a small tsunami forming when the castle appears in a river, etc. It’s always nice when people can creatively apply just enough realism to the fantastical in a way that makes things so much cooler like that.

So you can 1) Traverse through time 2) The speedo of the travel is variable So I dont see why that variable speed couldn't be negative. Then again, we shouldn't bother. If it is possible to achieve by us, humans, it probably has happened and we will never know about it (see above) or it is not possible by us and we will never know about it. A fun thought either way.

Elise L-J you’ll probably be fine in medieval England things like racial based slavery and shit like that wasn’t really around much since feudalism was still a very popular thing and so rulers had all the free labor they needed for farming and building. So you’d probably be fine, at worst they’d probably look at you with curiosity, or racial suspicion.
