I am in my late 60's, & I remember walking into the market where I saw my elderly Uncle. I was SO pregnant and SO over it in the heat of late, late summer. He took one look at me, walked up and gave me a big, gentle hug and said, "It will be over soon & you'll be so happy!" I had NOT said one, single word nor was I "making a face" or anything. He just looked at me and could tell. Bless his dear, now long ago departed soul for that kind understanding❤! It really helped me in the moment.

I realize that baby two has already made his appearance but Allie taking about turning baby reminded me of my second child birth. Two Doctors yelling at me to push and I did with all in me, no go. They left room in disgust, literally. Nurse Becky was left, holding the bag. I asked Becky if I could turn onto my left side and she said yes. The Second I turned, the baby (and yes, it's a weird feeling) did a 180 inside me and immediately came out. Bless her heart, Becky threw my right leg over her shoulder and was catching the baby, whilst Screaming DOCTOR DOCTOR! Becky was in full blown panic and to me, the expression on her face was hysterical. I laughed the baby fully into this world and blessed nurse Becky delivered and caught baby singlehandedly. Thank you nurse Becky! My moral to this is; YOUR BODY tells you what it needs, not the doctors. 😄

I could not agree more. The flat on the back position is the worst position to labor in. Natural birthing is the way to go and a squatting position is preferred. But this is not for everyone. ❤

Hope that’s a helpful comment. Sending all the best wishes from Southern Ontario Canada 🥰

My husband made a comment yesterday when we was going to get a wild bee hive that was currently in a log near our local fish hatchery. (His very first time doing this) He said "the problem with people now is they have become so lazy and have forgotten how to live and do things on their own" He's right, and we need to start doing more, learning more and get back to having more knowledge. In order to do this, we have to learn from mistakes and just keep trying. I think it's amazing how y'all went from living in a van to full blown construction and building your own home. You're learning and teaching other's. Alley, I had our 1st baby at 24 and our last at 43 and I went through what you are going through for ALL of my pregnancies. Girl, I know those emotions too. Trusting the good LORD above that He knew exactly what he was doing when creating life is what got me through every pregnancy. I know you already had your baby, but just wanted to let you know that it's ok to feel and think this way, and remembering our blessings helps us through it.

In 1998 I was 39 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and baby moved to breech presentation. Doctor turned him manually (He was an OB) and I went into labour 3 days later and he was born 10lb 9oz. The body is amazing at how we carry and deliver babies. My other 2 children were 7 pounders. My Giant baby is now 26 and 6'5

Both my boys were over 11 pounds and over 2ft long. I "slept" in the recliner for the last 5 months of the pregnancy so the chair arms supported my belly. I disliked being pregnant immensely and I voiced it on a daily basis. Allie, the tears came hot and heavy when you spoke about how uncomfortable you were.. I feel it, like it was yesterday and my oldest is 30. I wanted to just reach through that screen and hug you. Now that baby brother is here, I sure hope your body is feeling somewhat better!🤞🤞🤞

Bondo used for rusty cars will bond to concrete and wood. Did the peers on our porch 13 years ago, it’s Still looks good as new. Use tape to control the edges and remove immediately after bondo is smoothed on. Can sand later if edges aren’t smooth

I feel for you. I was overdue in the same situation she was on the small side. I had horrible heartburn and my ankles were tree trunks.😂 I was so over it! I’m glad you’re speaking on it. Pregnancy can be stressful. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just seal the tops of the posts with varnish, or paint. It doesn’t matter. As for the gaps put epoxy on a shim and hammer them in.

Jennifer must be so proud of Grayson. What a great job he's doing for his Uncle Trent. I adore Allie, the fun Aunt! And Trent is the cool Uncle! And Brandon stands alone as the honorary Uncle, best friend, and partner in "crime"!!
