A magnet can't really work that strongly from a distance of 3 feet. The attraction power decreases very quickly with distance. @tomsmith3045 Жыл бұрын
I agree. Both shows are great. I find Monk more fun to watch, but I have to give the edge to Columbo for the character. Columbo knew who did it within a few seconds of being on scene. But it took him the episode to prove it. He also had a bit of a dark side that Monk didn't, where he would manipulate the situation to get the back guy, even if he had to break the rules. In a way, they were opposite, in that Columbo was an expert in human nature while Monk was a perfect observer of the physical world. But they were the same, in that their adversaries always underestimated them. That last part is a bit weird, now that I think about it. Imagine the bad guy, who is often at the first scene, being introduced to either of them as "this is Lt Columbo/Monk. He's been doing homicide investigations for 20 years. If he doesn't catch this person, it will be the first time he's failed. Best of luck!"
