BLK women should just way their options with other races cultures. Everything doesn't have to be a BLK man woman issue. People like what they like. If hair texture was that important to me, I'd just get a white woman or Latin X. Simple fix, NO need to try and make people who they are not.

Of course. But people who don't understand 4c hair say it's unkempt simply because of the texture of hair and how it grows not because of the style. They think your hair is only kept when it's straight down. If your hair grows up, it's considered messy.
@sunshineand5 жыл бұрын
@@PHlophe you dont need to style you hair....take care of it, detangle, moisturize and wash and go if you want...the "style it" thing is only reserved for African looking people because society says that the texture it grows as isnt good enough. They are wearing them as a protective style because ethnic hair takes time to manage and if you wear it everyday and not give it the lot of attention it requires it gets damaged because it's too sensitive. There are also those that wear wigs because they actually don't have hair to wear. If a cancer patient or a lady that is balding feel comfortable in a wig then they should in peace. The true discussion here that they left out (which is typical for the „Real“) is, why the hell is a man talking about women’s stuff? Is he a wig’s expert now? And if you don’t like it, just leave it bro, no one is trying to impress you. Men are messed up in every aspect, yet you don’t see women running around and criticizing them about their personal issues. So, he is traumatized bc a wig fell off? I wish this was the only kind of trauma some women have to experience during sex. Why do men always find a way to criticize women and feel good about it instead of paying attention to themselves, is it the low self esteem? If a woman would do the same, she will be crucified. He really thought that he did something there, sit your a** down. I never wore wigs and I’m not black, but I stand with you sisters, wear your wigs however you like it.

@@africandreams5332 why does a black woman wearing wigs make them insecure? Not coming at you but do you know anything about a black woman's hair? There are plenty of black women that wear wigs that look like their natural hair, what does that make them?
@africandreams53324 жыл бұрын
Elle Bailey yes I know everything about black women hair, and those who wear natural wig still makes them an insecure woman or a nasty woman. Any woman who put fake hair or someone else hair on their head has underlying concerns about her who hair whether it’s nappie, short, long, or any other issues. It’s still an insecurity and we need to stop lying about it. Maybe, that way we can learn to love our own hair so much, we wouldn’t want to hide it from the world. When the world see us unapologetically fleshing our own hair, they would have no other choice but to respect us. I had alopecia badly in the crown of my head, moving to the front, sides and back for almost ten years. I use to be ashamed and cover my head with wigs. But my inner self spoke to me and said, “all you need to do is pay more attention to your own hair, cleanse and treat your scalp so that it would heal and stop covering your scalp. The more you cover it, the more your hairs die. From that moment, three years ago, I threw away all my wigs and paid attention to my own hair and now my hair is thriving and at shoulders length. Thanks to not wearing wigs and loving what God gave me, treating it well and respecting it. I talk to my hair and treat it with special care because it is mine and I’m not ashamed of it. Yes people use to stare at my baldness, but I stood strong and confident knowing that the little that I had was mind and I loved it. I am proud of myself for that leap of faith and confidence and my hair is loving me right back. Some parts are still not totally covered but I am doing fine and so is the hair on my head. My God given hair that is my own beautiful locs.

When will guys learn to stop publicly criticizing women's hair???!!! Yo, I thought we learned after Tyrese xD zzzz Listen, men out there, it's ok to have preferences (all of us do) but you don't have to put people down who don't fit your preference. When it comes to black men in particular , the loudest critics are often the biggest hypocrites (look up the many black men in the public eye who have critiqued/mocked women for using hair extensions, etc- all WHILE REFUSING TO DATE WOMEN WHO SPORT THEIR NATURAL HAIR). You can't have it both ways. I personally don't care if women use lace fronts, wigs, whatever - as long as it looks tasteful and doesn't distract from their natural beauty. (Tamara is an example of the type of woman I personally am attracted to - when she does use hair accessories I can't tell). But that's just my preference. What's beautiful to me may be hideous to the next guy and vice-versa but regardless no man or woman should ever diss a group of people who don't fit their preference because frankly they themselves often aren't the best looking thing in the world. I'm 5'5 so I already know that a lot of women out there wouldn't date me based on my height alone, but that's their preference. Some women do what Meek did to us guys under 6 feet, so it goes both ways I'm just saying it's usually wise in general not to comment on people's appearance.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I hate when men, especially black men comment on what they like or don't like about a woman's hair. Our history is too deep for that. Sure some styles are better than others but unless you are wearing your hair the same way but better or have suggestions hold your peace. I went to middle school in the beginning of the 2000s. A lot of guys were making fun of the girls for wearing so called horse hair but once braids for men were a thing guys were sporting tiny braidswith no "hang time" its easy to make fun of women when you don't have any hair. Side note, I always thought I'd apply a wig wrong of have it fall off.

the real Yaa ansatewaa wasn't into that wig nonsense. gain your dignity back. men have the right to their opinions, after all they produce daughters too. and quit telling me what they should comment on.

You’re right, people are entitled to their opinion. Now, I’m stating mine. From what I’ve observed, a lot of black men tend to focus their attention on what they consider to be negative about what women do (particularly black women).Stop with the hate. While you’re at it, be a mentor to our young black men. Tell them to pull up their sagging pants, keep their nose clean, and stay out of jail. That’s what you can do! Worrying about a lace front; Really?

Hair makes a woman feel good natural or not.Most women would prefer there own hair. However;menopause, stress,poor nutrition all,play a role in the hair growth process, even environmental factors.

THIS COMMENT. I am a full time wig wearer. Yes, I have hair...which is beautiful. But requires a lot of time to style, and is very sensitive to any drop of humidity. I don't have time to fix my hair at work, since I wait tables. Wigs make me feel relaxed and confident that my appearance is kept together even when I'm a mess. ❤
