But you're not okay with a healthy relationship where you enjoy each other's company and therefore won't be on the verge of killing yourself IF it's over like so many of these "Love is an addiction" relationships. Don't try to use science unless you know fully of the details regarding brain interactions with commonalities like Love and know truly that those interactions are due to feel good aspects and can be attributed to many other things and not this cause and effect correlation of love and addiction within the brain.....btw know the real definition of what feminism is and not just what society is crapping out to you and if you still don't see the good in it then bless your soul.

Poor Tamera. There is nothing with being in love and being addicted to your spouse...so long as you BOTH are equally in love and addicted to each other. Or the other person at least looks like it. The sad part is if the spouse breaks your hear or something beyond his/her control happens and he/she has to leave you. So a combination of Tamera's addiction and Jeannie's "independence" would be good. I can see Tamera being heart-broken if something happened to Adam.

no that is a healthy stable relationship. human being are not completely all trustworthy. yes you can trust them as some point but not completely to the point that they become your whole life like a worshiper with their idols. it's a husband, not God. When you trust fully in God, He alone will be the one to sustain you in your marriage, satisfy and complete you. many thoughts marriage will complete them but they still are unhappy, still look for their sense of purpose and the person the thought could help them broke them completely or help but when they are gone, they are lost and broken which it shouldn;t be like that. now I understand you should love, yes love your husband or wife but not to the point you adore them even before the Lord Jesus.

I understood what Jeannie meant, by addicted to your husband. Well, this is just my opinion, I lost my husband in 1995 by death and I almost lost my mind. He was my second husband and I didn't know that I loved him that much, but I prayed that God would never keep me from loving someone where I could not do without them. I became very faithful to my faith and then realized that you should not be addicted to no one but God. He is a jealous God and he comes first in my life. I am next when it comes to making myself happy, then my children, because without me being happy and loving myself, I can't love others. One thing that I realized is that God can give you family and he can take them away. I live by myself now and sometimes I get a little lonely, but I just pray and realize I still live. I do love family and they love me and I will continue to be independent until the day that I leave this earth.

Psalms 118:8 - [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.Psalms 118:9-13 - [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.. Men are humans. putting your complete dependency in your faith in God and the strength His Spirit gives you daily is better than to put your complete dependency in your lover, husband or any men. for just as you are trusting them, they can break that trust because at the end of the day they are not perfect, they are humans. They will make a promise to stay with you and never break your heart over and over again but the same person will be the one to hurt you. Of course, you need them and want them in the way that is stable and not addictive but to be complete addict to them. No---Believe in yourself first and your God and your faith before you believe in another person and gives yourself completely to the point you have no identity and in complete dependence of them.

Omg thank you so much for this. You are a million percent right! I needed to hear this. My boyfriend and I broke up. It's really tough. I've been so depressed. One thing I can say is I solely dependeded on him for my happiness. I was looking to fill that empty void via him. However he broke my heart and kept making false empty promises. I hope I can get through it and rely on god and not man to be happy. I don't love myself or value myself at all. I do need to start praying again. He has moved on and is with another woman. Men are so selfish they get over it so quickly while I'm just weeping away. I hope I can find a real man that knows how to treat me. The way I deserve to be treated and not like a doormat. I hope Karma catches up to him. Sorry for the rant but thank you for saying this statement it has helped me. I love the real Jeannie is a million percent correct. I'm like Jeannie. I'm addicted to my independence. I love my man, but if I wouldn't drop dead if he wasn't around. As Jeannie said, I am NOT going to not be OK 👌 if he's not around.

Jeannie was so on point here and I aim to have more of what she has than Tamera bc I've learned with my husband that we both have to be responsible for our own happiness and not lose sight of who we are. As soon as we get lost in eachother we become miserable and completely unable to keep the other person happy. If you're addicted to your husband you have a rude awakening coming your way.

I'm with Jeannie on this. I had a relationship that the guy was so controling that it made me addicted like without even wanting to. I would get panic attacks not talking to him everyday, if he'd get angry for wtv stupide reason I'd go crazy thinking omg he's gonna leave me I'ma die right now. I got closer to my faith and in the end I put an end to the relationship of almost 3 years. I started the same patern with my husband at first cause I was so used to it, but he wasn't the controling type to make you feel guilty about every little thing and I slowly became more independant. We've been married for almost 6 years, we have kids together and we've had lots of ups and downs, but I've never had that feeling of omg he's gonna leave I'm gonna die. If he ever left I'd be sad for sure, but not to the point of not being able to live anymore or anything and God knows how much I love him.

I agree with what Jeannie said and for those making comments about her relationship with Freddie, need to remember just because it isn't how you think it should be, doesn't mean she's not happy and in love with her partner. The relationship is between her and her partner, everyone's relationship is different.
@jbrown87268 жыл бұрын
And she should remember the same before she dare call out a cast member for enjoying her marriage the way IT is....

Go head Tamar! When she said to audience "dont clap" to Jeannie being addicted to her independence! My opinion is this..everyone do them! Jeannie always ready to give her opinion about being independent and probably give her girl friends more attention than the one who needs it most, her husband! Love Adrienne for ALWAYS keeping it real too! Tamera, keep doing you boo!

Just because Jeannie is more into her phone than her husband doesn't mean Tamara has a problem. Jeannie found someone she can live with (barely since they're long-distance), not someone she can't live without. That was her choice, but some people want passionate real love instead of self-adulation.
@jbrown87268 жыл бұрын
Thank you
@AGEE_958 жыл бұрын
+tbd You say that like, there is only one type of love or way to be passionate. There's not. Tamara's love for her husband, is NOT more valid, than Jeannie's, or vice versa, point, blank, period. And Jeannie clearly, said she values her independence. There is nothing wrong with wanting a person but not needing them. Tamera just said, she doesn't need her husband, but wants him. So she wasn't even fully disagreeing with Jeannie.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Tamera. She's a devoted wife and mother! She should not be shamed for that. Isn't it normal for parents to miss their baby(s) while they're at work? I babysit my nephew and when he's not here with me (even if it's for a couple days), I do take out my phone to look at his photos and videos. I believe Tamera when she says she's independent. She just enjoys her husband's company. Nothing wrong with that! I think that makes for a good marriage. I can understand Jeannie's view as well. She doesn't want to put herself in that position of feeling like death if a relationship is over. They're both strong ladies.

I love this segment & I agree with Jeannie 100%. I'm currently in the state where she used to be. I'm going through the horrible break up and i've been feeling so broken up by it - but I realized that I never want to be here again. I don't need to cling that much or be addicted to my future partner .. because what happens when it is time to detach is so painful (emotion-wise).

They hit the nail on the head at the ending..."You don't need him, you want him" That's exactly how I feel. I'll never be dependent on a man, even if I get married in the future. BUT, when I'm in a relationship, I crave my boo lol. Just being around him, cuddling, kissing, etc. I love that stuff. Who doesn't? I'll always want my partner, but I'll never need him. The only person I'm going to depend on is me.

Music and food is my addiction 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I’m a cancer and cancers are just very big on domestic life. That’s Tamara’s one and only love and man. She has no one else to compare him too! That’s what she wanted. Once a cancer is married. Forget it, they are married for life and that’s a beautiful thing. I on the other hand, I don’t need marriage or kids… never wanted it…and I’m never addicted to anyone. I FEEL what Jeannie is saying. I know during the pandemic, Tamara said her husband and kids were getting on her nerves 😂😂… that’s because she didn’t have to be around them 24/7. Everyone felt like that. I crave solitude. That’s how I get recharged. I can’t be on all the time. I get drained. When I lived with my ex… I put him out my place. It was deceitful how he moved into my place and we didn’t even talk about it. He just came over like a stray cat one day and never left. Mind you he had his own place, job (he quit) and car and he turned in everything to leech off me. Grown ass 42 year old man. Please! He wanted someone to take care of him. He thought in his mind that if he moved in, no one else would be with me and it would make the relationship last. How? You ain’t bringing in no money. But anyway I really do hope Tamera and Adam have a long blessed marriage but there a real no Guarantees in life except death and one day we will all return home to God, no matter who goes first. Nobody is getting out here alive. 😁 Tamara being so in love with her husband and kids and life is just blissful, she makes others aspire to want to be married and have a family. On the reality show, Tamara was in therapy because she wanted what her sister had and her therapist told her not to covet that and that it will happen for her one day. She felt she needed these things to complete her. Marriage was the end goal for her and she got it eventually but not at first. She dumped Adam because he didn’t want to get married. Y’all know the story. But I’m so happy she got what she wanted, her husband, kids and dog, house… flourishing career, degree, money… no one is struggling. Isn’t that the blueprint society lays out? Some follow it, others don’t. I don’t and don’t care to 😁

I love it Tamera. It sounds like your version of love...and equally as healthy as Jeannie's version of love...because it works for you and your family and it brings you peace and therefore, I'm imagining that your way of loving brings both your husband's peace as well. And so, I love both of your approaches. :-)
