Adrienne is living in lala land. Even if you're an introvert, you don't act like that. You have a small circle of friends but you still check up on them and hang out with them every once in a while. You text to ask about their day every once in a while. She seems like the girl who only remembers she has friends when life gets hard just like loni was saying.
@angelabella1836 жыл бұрын
It's not that. I understand her completely! because when you get older you are settled your outings aren't what they use to be and when you have friends who are just dating or just has a boyfriend they still wanna do things that are extra, so Adrienne just likes to have a chilled outing, she's become more calmer. But yes, I do understand it is good to still keep in touch with your friends
@signalfire156 жыл бұрын
Angela Bella Adrienne’s not older though. She just got married. You don’t age 10 years right after you get married. If you stop hanging with your friends, it’s because you made a conscious choice to alienate yourself mentally from them because of your newly married status. Which is exactly what Jeannie was talking about with “the shift.” There’s nothing wrong with it. But there will come a point where you realize that you miss your friends. And hopefully, they will still be around at that time.
@signalfire156 жыл бұрын
DominicanMerida Right?? I was thinking I’m an introvert and I still enjoy hanging out with my friends. Adrienne probably just doesn’t have any good friends! But that should say something about her as well.
@angelabella1836 жыл бұрын
Kat A. But she is in her 30s and once you do hit a certain and especially if you did the party life so often you do drain down. Also, even though her marriage is still fresh, she was with him way before so that means she already had that chilled feeling. When you are married it is different you can't prioritize your friends. Yes, it is good to make time for others of course, but friends, well not saying that they are not important I mean that they don't become the first people you choose and that goes for any married couple it is you and your spouse now because with your spouse is who you will begin to build a new life if your friends get married they'll nost likely do the same then what? Youre just there. But I understand where you are coming from. I don't say ditch your friends, but it changes.
@signalfire156 жыл бұрын
Angela Bella Hmmm. I’m not sure. I have friends who are more similar to Jeannie. One of my friends married at 26. I’d call her up and ask her to go out. She’d be there. Absolutely nothing changed in our friendship. The only difference is that we usually include her husband now in our outings but he’s a super cool guy and someone who fits in well with all us girls. But there are sometimes when it’s just us girls too and she’s still there with us having a good time. I don’t expect that to stay the same when she has kids though. But, I think I’m just having a hard time relating because none of my friends are the kind of people who make their man their lives. Even when we all had our respective boyfriends, we never went through that “lose your mind” phase lol. Though I’ve heard about it and kept waiting for it to happen with my friends but it never did. But, like I said, most of my friends are very similar to Jeannie. So it’s probably just a personality thing.
@usadrones7 жыл бұрын
Jeannie always keeps it so real! If you invite your friend to hangout, she can't invite her man. You won't be able to have girl talk around him. You don't want him knowing your business. I especially can't stand women who talk to their boyfriend/husband about things you've told them in confidence. He's not my friend, heffa! lol
@ariadnebene84137 жыл бұрын
"He's not my friend, heffa!" I'm weak!!!!!!!!!!!! But no I agree with that though because if I wanted him to know my business, I'd go to him and spill the beans and be HIS friend. But I'm not, YOU are my friend. So YOU are the one I'm going to be spilling my tea to.

I spent 24/7 with my man. When he was at work, i didn't know what to do with myself! Then he enlisted in the US Marines and i recreated myself! 3 months without him, I got a new job, changed my diet and joined Zumba, finally got toned and looking good, and when he came home he was like Damn, look at you ;) We got married during his 10 days of leave last month, and sadly we had to separate 2 days after the wedding because of his schedule. But honestly, i think distance is such a good thing. I used to feel like i absolutely needed him. Now that I've had to take months away from him, I've had time to focus on me, and better myself. I think sometimes distance is necessary. I became a new woman, on my own.

Though i know he understood and never minded taking care of me, i just wanted more for him, and myself. So i found a simple medication that helped it immensely that is just a patch you wear 1 every 7 days, Got educated, got a job i love, I exercise and go to zumba with new work friends, and I have the best husband ever.

I'm not surprised Adrienne rushed to get married. She was in that stage that a lot of women are in when they hit their early 30s. Plus she wasted 6 years of her youth on a man that didn't commit all the way. A lot of women want children and by 35 fertility starts to drop dramatically. @ladybug44997 ай бұрын
I agree with Loni on this. I've had friends who would completely ditch me after finding a man. We'd make plans to go out together and she'd tell me last minute she can't make it or would spend all their time with their man leaving me lonely on campus. And you can tell when a man is actually serious about you just from meeting them but love is blind and I remember thinking to myself, "heh she's gonna see nicely when yal break up with each other" and that legit is what happened. All of a sudden she's all extra clingy to me because I'm the only friend she has and that just ain't cute to me. Like don't come back to me now that you don't have any other options, I don't care whether it's a friendship, a relationship or even just potential -I take none of it lightly because putting my trust and feelings and energy into someone is something I hold a lot of value over. Adrienne just got married, leave her alone, it's the honeymoon phase, let her enjoy her love, its normal and happiness is written all over her. Live your life and hang out with the friends you want to. Do what makes YOU happy.

I'm like Adrienne sometimes I like being alone lmao just cause you're alone don't mean you're lonely. Sometimes you just wanna lay in your bed, cuddle with you blanket and watch a good movie, especially with friends or siblings. I like chilling at home, not all the time, obviously but I like it.

i think part of the reason adrienne can't bare to be away from is for more than 5 mins is because they were only together for a few months before they got married in the first damn place! now i really do want her relationship to work out but she sure does make it hard to root for her when she acts like this :/

I like spending time with my beloved, but we both enjoy some alone time, like Jeannie said. and i agree with Loni and Tamera, you must have a balance. One of the thing that keeps the spark is when we give each other the chance to miss US (our together time)

Man.. finally found people that can relate to Adrienne.. Errbody else is just bashing her. I'm a Scorpio too, never been married. Either when in a relationship or single, I love my own company. I don't consider myself an introvert, a good balance is just perfect. Can 100% understand what she's saying though

Oh and one more thing, I love all ladies on the show. I like tamera talking about her husbands and kids. Their are viewers who can actually relate to her mummy and wifey adventures. And I love the way Jeanie reamained free spirited in her marriage and see the sacrifices of self form her in her marriage, like giving in or not to a baby, getting each other to love each other's passion. I love Loni, she has been through marriage and shows women that you can overcome and be strong. She enjoys the things she can do that she couldn't do when committed. And I think she is funny. You just don't joke all the time otherwise no one will take you serious. I would love for her to find love. Real love. I believe she would really want that. That's why she gives it away to others. And Adrienne is just spontaneous, that's fun. And I love her passion. I recognise that spice. Not every answer has to be thought well through. Tamar was like that, that's why the conversations were so lively back then. But today girls smh... You girls ambushed loved up Adrienne... Girls... Girls... Girls... Not surprised she got a bit defensive and slightly snappy. I would bite off too. When the pink cloud dissolves, just be there for her with no remarks like... I told you so... Oh now you call me... The older you get you take people with the good and the weaknesses... It isn't a drama... Just say... Oh that's just how my friend is. I hear her when she is ready.

I love my husband but I've always looked forward to spending time even going away on weekends with my girls and this was so even in the first year of marriage. He has his own life, friends obligations etc and so too do I. Even though like Adrienne I just wanted to be with him, I still make time for my friends

Adrienne should be allowed to spend her time with who she wants. If she loses friend's in the process then that's on her. Or if her friends have a problem with it then then need to talk to her about it and be realistic about the role she will play in their life. My two cents
