Haha sometimes I do that too when I'm home doing nothing but watching tv shows but at least every 2 days though. If it's more than that thats nasty to me. There's no need to shower twice a day, people are crazy and have too much time on their hands. I feel like showering at night is best because then you get to go to bed all clean lol and if you put freshly washed sheets on your bed its even more amazing! Showering in the morning feels pointless because if you showered 8 hours ago and you didn't sweat during the night then there's no point lol but anyway different strokes for different folks

However, if you completely wet your body (whatever method), soap up and rinse off; there's no sweat to mix with anything. More importantly, you can bathe all you want and not clean/ change your sheets regularly and still have the same issues. That's why I was raised to not sit or wear outside clothes on beds.

Let's be REAL. Know your body and your level of stank. Unless you're an active person (physically or schedule-wise) or a person who just sweats a lot, there's no need for multiple showers a day. One is fine, and I'm not sure why Tamar was trying to shame Jeannie. I shower once every 14 days and not ashamed to say it. I have severe chronic dry skin, I wash my parts and face (oxygen wash) daily and get a fully body oil milk cleanse every Saturday using oxygen treatment. I now have the best skin and no stretch marks. I shower using an oxygenated system though and rejuvenating body serum and let me tell you it works. I will say this; as a med student, we were told (and were suprised, too) that you really technically just need to wash the areas with soap that collect sweat, etc. like under the arms, other areas with hair, etc. Everything else you can just let water rinse off. Obviously many people wouldn't only do that- heck I'm all about soap and lather, otherwise I don't feel clean, but from a medical perspective, taking showers too often does dry out your skin b/c you're removing the essential oils that help to hydrate it in the first place. It's the same reason why dermatologists advice you to not wash your face multiple times a day. I'm just sayin' :)

I think there's a lot of reason that depends on how you shower. For example, if you take a shower every day are they long or short? If you shower once a day is it because you shower at night? If you take 3-4 showers a week then are you doing bird baths in between or maybe is it because where you live isn't really hot so you don't sweat or maybe your not active so you don't really get dirty. Or are you skipping one day then shower the next an so forth. Of course, if you go to the gym or get dirty shower again. Also, there are people who have sensitive skin or have eczema so they have to be careful with showering too much. I will say there is a thing when you are overdoing with the showers because even if you put on lotion it is still bad for the skin just like washing your hair too many times dries the scalp and makes your head more oily.

Honestly it depends on your daily routine. If you're someone who works out or has an occupation that causes you to be outside for an excessive amount of time or if your work comes with a lot of physical activity then twice a day is a must. But a shower per day is not as insane as everyone is crying about in the comment section, especially if you are a night shower type of person. Taking a shower in the morning only eight hours of motionless is a bit unnecessary (unless you engaged in intercourse the night prior). Only time I would wash about three times a day is during my menstrual due to my own hygienic preference.
