Correction on the Stuhn's set. Every time you damage an off balance enemy, you will refresh the 10 second buff. So if you hit them at the start and at the end of the off balance window, you will have 17 seconds of uptime when fighting only 1 enemy.

It's good to hear that the sets I have are still viable. I've never used essence thief, although I must have collected some of the pieces running white gold tower. I really like how the proc looks. The rewards of the worthy sets look good too. The PVP character I use the most is a stamblade. I think I have Stuhns already, but I cannot remember what it is paired with. Stuhns and Plaguebearer would be fun.

I am so happy to have found your videos. Honestly there is no better pvp content out there. We have been playing pve since we started, and were scared to death of pvp. So, we built pvp characters and are hooked...a lot thanks to you. We still suck but are getting so much better. I run plaguebreak, Stuhns and gaze on my stamcro. I found for my play style adding shock enchant to proc stuhns and using brawler instead of dizzy is so sweet with blastbones use and that damage shield is awesome.

I know this is an old video, so you prob won't see this, but I run a 2h front bow back stemplar. I use the maelstrom 2h, sheer venom back, deadly strike, and magma incarnate. With the skills I run magma is always up, and deadly boosts sheer and lethal injection to unholy amounts. If you haven't tried it out, you might really like it

Why not run mech acuity on body? I run it on body with stuhs on frontbar, master bow on back. I like it cause i can proc it with my bow then ambush into surprise attack or incap and usually get a good burst. I’ve been playing for years but am relatively new to pvp so I’m still working on the best way to mix and match sets

@@nejcn001 unfortunately this isn't the case, the cool down isn't affected. Otherwise infused torugs with heartland would be a crittable proc that hits every second and doesn't scale off of weapon or spell damage. Maybe I should've said fortunately!

It´s an older video, but I hope you still read the comments :) Thank you very much for your advice. I have a question, what´s about rattlecage for pvp builds? Personally I use the set on my magplar because he has no class abilities to give me greater sorcery (I know, mages guild degeneration, but I really don´t find it so useful in pvp so far, but I am open to learn something new, perhaps I don´t see all benefits of the skill). Would you go for hybrid armor light/heavy or would you go completely for light armor in pvp? Heavy armor has it´s uses for resistance buff and with the right sets to combine you can make a really strong build I think. But I have seen many of your videos and thought okay ask someone who does more pvp than me and is more experienced :)

Hybrid is a vague term, it typically means using stamina and magic skills on the same build utilizing both resources. Don't really consider armor like heavy/light Hybrid. Right now I'm my magplar I'm using 3 light 3 heavy 1 medium

It just depends I run both, dw is good for stamina templar, but also stam nb etc. Main reason is the passives you get 6% extra weapon/spell dmg. Paired with Heartland conquer it's amazing for high dmg and pen

I love the cowards gear set in pvp 30% speed boost and 10% damage reduction when you run saved my life so many times. I also run hrothgar and dark convergence together on my DK and it's disgusting. Dropping wall of elements and burning talons people inside of the center of the dark convergence is almost a 1 shot if they are squishy

For stam builds, don't sleep on way of air. Run air on back bar and acuity on front with thief mundus and wild hunt, decent damage with great speed and sustain.

I put Plaguebreak on my NIghtblade, and Hrothgars on my StamDK. I am thinking of getting a second set of Hrothgars for my MagTemplar. The sets are fun. And I agree, that Dark Convergence is easy to get out of. Just roll out, turn and range them down.

Another correction: warmaiden does get buffed by major and minor sorcery and stuff, its just not on your stat sheet, but it DOES get buffed. Same applies to silk of the sun, which you mention in comparison to burning spellweave. Hate how i see misinformation in so many videos recently….

A quick google research resulted in 3 forum links with tests or statements about it. ​ In the video you really stressed the point of war maiden NOT BEING BUFFED, while it actually IS BUFFED. This is clearly misinformation. Maybe leave it out of the video, if you are not sure about it, but dont just state the opposite, if you dont know it. Same goes for Cor's correction about Stuhn's favor, which actually has a much longer uptime, since it procs on dealing damage against an offbalanced target and not when you set a target offbalance. Actually you could use the set without setting somebody offbalance at all if a group member does it for you. What is concerning to me is that recently such cases of misinformation are more frequent. During last week i saw two people trying to convince people in their video, that you can stack snares of the dark convergence set with skills like caltrops or eruption from the dk to result in a 100% snare. Which is impossible, since snares dont stack anymore for like 2 years already and you are only affected by the strongest snare. THAT is my problem.

I just rewatched this video, it should be knowledge shared that plaguebreak isn’t an advanced set for mag users. It is medium armour as well as weapons and jewellery, meaning you get the perks and no draw backs. You can run light or heavy armour with it. I enjoy going back on your videos to find out how much you have missinformed people. You seem to intentionally deter people from being able to take advantage of gear sets.
