Savannah not a bad City. It's what's you make out of it. If you can make it in Savannah you can make it any where. Crime is Evey where please don't judge us for what you think. Some people do a lot of good here. Job have gotten a lot better. It's all about where your head at.

I'm very disappointed in TheRealStreetz lack of in depth info in this video. I've saw other videos where you did a lot of research on cities and told the entire black history of the city including all the historic neighborhoods. You are in of the cities with some of the richest black history in the USA. Oldest City in Georgia, and original slave port, oldest black church in America, Gullah-Geechee Culture and all you did was talk to random dudes? lol You even did a lil historic run down on fuckin WEST VIRGINIA with in depth info on their black community and the entire state is like 3% black. I saw where your facebook page said Macon, GA vid was comin soon. Dont even post that shit if it's poorly presented like this. This was trash, Savannah's hoods deserved a more informative and better put together video.

The main thing I got from this video is that there is no unity. Everyone is doing their own thing. Ya'll need to put down all that foolishness and get back together. Rebuild your communities, help the younger generation with a step up. Don't sit around talking about what the OGs don't do. If you want better get your hands dirty and step up. I issue you a challenge step up and show us that you can be men not little lost boys.

I grew up in savannah gardens & Texas avenue in the 80s and it was so cool back then. We would walk the streets at 2 am all the time with no problems. I lived in savannah for 3 yrs and last 4th they had a drive by In city market...that ruined my biz there cuz so many out of towners rather go to river st due to the incident. But truthfully I lived on the East side and was told from day one stay away from the west side. But to be honest I'm originally from Brockton Ma and that city was literally 75xs worse then Savannah. I have seen dead ppl shot up in the street, women raped in winter in front pf schools and even cop chases and one guy holding his eyeball running from the cops after crashing his car into a fence. Yep. My family lived not far from Savannah. They were from Tattnall County. Many of the extended family went to Savannah for jobs and they still there. But the immediate family went to South Florida in the 40s. We spread throughout Florida as years passed. South Florida has lots of Georgia roots. Camouflage was very popular in Miami.

Check out the “Ogeechee Insurrection of 1868”. Struggle been real for hundreds of years. It’s time to organize and fight back against government and the corporations. These people in the video want peace, equality, and REAL freedom. I hope to organize one day in Savannah, for all poor and struggling people.

When we realize that the hustle is real and take that same street motivation and business sense to create viable business interest we can do so much more for the hood. The game has got us all messed up nobody want to work hard for success anymore. We talk about the illegal immigrants coming into this country and taking jobs. But the truth is there wouldn’t be a job for them if we all weren’t looking for a quick come up. Cats coming here can’t even speak English but 5 years in they got a new truck own business and house. That is a real hustler. I’m writing this to motivate and inspire not to chastise... shit I’m from the #Low 17-95 all day

Black men get a job and stop blaming others for your own demise. First, learn how to dress and you are ones who are taking down the community and the city. My question to each of you, what are your contributions beside some damn rap song. Black on black violence is the problems. Programs is not the answer but hard work. You are smoking on the video is an example for who. If you kill, go to prison, do not get a job, do not go to school, have kids out of wedlock, do not take care of your kids, sells drugs, and the list goes on. Now who is to blame.

You may be right but there is no other race who conducts themselves in such a manner. Human decency is just common sense. I know many people who was raise without fathers. They may have babies themselves but do not want or know how to provide for a family. As a black man, I am sick of excuses from the women to the men.

big pop you from the out side looking in. Black men not the only damn race have kids before marriage are go to prison. If you don't no the life style then you can't understand it. I can't stand when people just think they have everyone figured out. Smdh... They made this video to tell they story not to be put down. It's easy for a person to sit around and say what they think is the problem when they don't no shit about what they talking about.

Tasia Collins We know all of what they speak about. This movie comes on every channel. Every major city and even the smaller cities are airing the same featured film. It’s disgusting and I am also sick of the excuses and finger pointing. As a man black or white you need to get off your ass and stop looking for handouts and pity. Behavior like this puts us as a race in a bottle. Qualified people like myself and many others are looked upon as being in worthy and we are not that. Neither are the men in this video. Just as we prove ourselves so shall they.
