Since Sikh is such a strong, military-focused religion I think you should do something with that as Punjab, since Punjab is Sikh to it's core. like convert all of the India subcontinent to Sikh, or convert Siak to Sikh(In the Straits of Johor), or convert a province in Europe to Sikh.

I always loved Indonesia in EU4. First did Majapahit and it was a blast. Being able to keep my enemies allies at bay by simply blockading them from the main battle island made expansion more interesting than just “get bigger army than enemy to declare”

my proudest moment in eu4 was when me and japan fucked all GB, Spain and Portugal with my navy (Japan went full army) in an MP. It was so bad they ragequit afterwards, claiming it wasnt fun, that I focused on navy (there were no rules against maritime/navy ideas)

fun fact - Perak means silver in malay, which was probably due to the discovery of tin within the state as mining was once its primary economic activity.

I was playing an EU4 mod called Rise of Civilisations and there was a big issue with plague events where you lose so much money from plague events and there isn't a cooldown so they can return days later. The vanilla plague events are more manageable

SEA is one of the best parts of the map and it always will be. Nowhere else does having a good navy really matter all that much.

Fun fact: Punjab comes from Persian panj ("five") and āb ("water") So why not build your empire to border five different major bodies of water? For example: the Indian Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and the Caspian Sea Or hard mode: border all five oceans (Northern, Southern, Indian, Pacific and Atlantic)

Just did a Malaya run where I decided to go Buddhist. It wasn't really worth it, mainly because I screwed myself by forcing Ternate and Tondo to go Buddhist as well as my subjects, the issue being the added disloyalty meant I couldn't properly integrate them.
