Listen, dude: if Bentley charges 300.000 Dollars for "just a base version", a similarly well built Mercedes-AMG top model for "just 200.000 Dollars" is totally worth its price, dude! Just take it this way! I just can't understand all these hysterical clowns, who are constantly complaining about car prices from German high performance car makers. "Not-German" luxury cars like Bentleys for example, still cost 50% more than German cars (which are better), but aren't as high tech, and are even slower and also don't have better build quality than the German car. Porsche Panameras for example have absolutely best suspension technology and build quality, but still are much cheaper than comparable Bentley Continentals.... Which have the same engines, by the way. A Mercedes-AMG is still a luxury product and can't be cheap of course. Why do a lot of Americans think, that Mercedes-Benz/ AMG vehicles have to be "affordable"...??? NO, they don't! They are expensive for a reason, period! Greetings from Stuttgart, Germany

*6.2L and 5.5L were Mercedes's Iconic V8 engines* *which to this day is still the best sounding V8 period!* V8 4.0 L sounds like crap compared to V8 5.5L like CLS 63S. This is why we all want the old model and hate the new model! We want the true V8 sound not this meh sounding V8 don't get me wrong this car looks amazing except maybe not the back XD But when you buy such a beast of a car and get a meh sounding V8 is really gonna disappoint you when you hear a CLS 63S roaring!

@jakes5530 top speed is probably never going to be reached in a safe environment but its 100% usable in the real world. That's why we have drag strips and race tracks for the top speed. Now for the amount of torque this has, it will ensure your highway merges and lane changes are a breeze.
