Based on current performances and matchups that were set up in part 2 or will be in part 3, I'd say Robby is a little faster, even moreso with his feet which is why he fared better against a quick and athletic fighter like Kwon, but Miguel on top of being more skilled is a tad stronger, which is why (with or without some plot armor) he will be the one to beat Axel when Robby couldn't.

I loved Miguel's character arc in this part of the season. what they did with his character was so exciting, and he turned into even more of a badass than he already was. btw, I think Daniel didn't tell Sam what happened to him because he didn't want to worry her. she had a tournament to win, and he probably didn't want to distract her.

The thing is, Robby is probably the best fighter in Miyagi Do aside from Miguel, but we’ve seen that when he’s unfocused, he seriously suffers, but when he is focused and has his head in the game, he can be a formidable opponent. Think about all the times Robby has lost. He lost to Hawk do to being distracted, he was losing to Miguel during the fight for the captain spot, but as soon as he became focused and motivated, he defeated Miguel. So I think if Robby becomes focused, He and Miguel will carry the team.

I’ve been saying that since day one, literally Robby is the most athletically gifted one out of all the kids there’s no reason why he’s been Nerfed thislong. We saw nobody was touching him in the All Valley when be was fighting under Cobra Kai - when locked in, nobody has been able to keep up with him.

oh my god enough with the unfocused thing robby fans. with the amount of times he's lost a fight due to being unfocused throughout a show and how absolutely EASY it is to get him unfocused, it's a literal demerit to robby. it's a disadvantage. a serious flaw at this point. if he cant focus on command or get his game up when he needs to that's the mark of a bad fighter. Robby may be great skills wise and balance wise if he cant get over thsi when he needs to, idk what to say. and STOP MAKING EXCUSES for the love of god. Its like a the runner up always wondering why he cant get the first place. This is why. this is why he cant. the difference between and losing is less than even 0.001% sometimes and this is the reason. every little thing counts.

I know its a TV show but this might be 1 of the worst coached teams in TV/film sporting history They let 1 of their best fighters walk off to join another team after her mum died and none of the coaches or her boyfriend, who was also on the team, went to see if she was ok. They just instantly replaced her Theyve showed up at the most prestigious karate tournament in the world and they havent scouted 1 other dojo or 1 other fighter in those dojos, havent prepared their team for any of those dojos or fighters or done any sort of work on tactics for any of the events. Theyve just thrown their fighters in randomly and hoped for the best Neither sensei can agree on tactics, no discussion beforehand, just both shouting different instructions during events confusing their fighters 1 of the captains+best fighters on the team is completely blowing it because he keeps getting distracted every event by the girlfriend he abandoned to go to Barcelona yet neither of the coaches have noticed (1 of the coaches is his dad) or tried to talk to him about it & none of his teammates appear too concerned except 1 who, instead of discussing the issue and trying to help his teammate is just being a bit of a dick over it. Some of them are openly refusing to follow sensei instructions and none of them are motivated at all and the 3rd sensei has spent the entire time drunk/sleeping it off I honestly cant see how they couldve done a worse job at this point

Miguel is the one shining light for me in what has been an utterly miserable season. Daniel is the worst he’s ever been, the entire kids team spare Miguel has become pathetically weak, Tory is recycling a Walmart version of her original evil arc, Johnny is doing a bit better but it still feels like he’s learning lessons he learned two seasons ago, and in general the writing and fights of the whole season have not held up. I’m glad this show is ending after this season because it’s very clear the writers are out of steam.

@ it’s not even glaze, he’s just the only one that hasn’t gone backwards. The whole draw of this final season was that everyone’s baggage was done, it was gonna be a team effort, everyone locked in at their best to take on the biggest challenge in their sport. Instead, every character except Miguel has been reinjected into drama and squabbles they sorted multiple seasons ago. I’m not glazing Miguel, he’s just the only one without sudden onset amnesia.
