so katie and kristi’s grandma is the one that made the pact with the devil to have money. that’s why she doesn’t like dennis, bc he doesn’t have any money. when kristi says to toby “i’ll do it”, she means she accepts to be the one to have a son on the family, to finally pay the devil for the pact. this movie also explains why they don’t remember nothing when they grow up, the coven erases their memory. i really like how the whole story unfolds and you start to understand why everything that happened in the first two movies happened

I never made the connection that Christy agreed to have the son. I always figured she was working with Toby to get the family to gmas house as soon as she could so they could do the wedding ceremony that Dennis and Julie walked in on Kristy getting ready for. I wouldn't say that Lois didn't like Dennis cause he didn't have money. I felt like she didn't like him because he wasn't mature enough to push Julie to have more kids. I'm pretty sure all mentioned in the last movie that Lois was rich before the first and 2nd movie took place.

3 is definitely my favorite, besides the 1st one, the 4th one was funny not the best one tho, and I also liked Next Of Kin. 💯🔥 the second one was okay, and interesting to see how the husband transferred Toby to Katie and how the first one came to be, but the third was definitely the best. Imo. Love the way the first 3 tie together. And the marked ones wasn’t my favorite but still entertaining lol. Omg I almost forgot ghost dimension also not a favorite of mine, but the ghost camera thing was cool, it just got a little confusing in that one.

He was like “the first two weren’t even that bad” I was shitting myself through the whole movie and when it finished he looked just as terrified and was like.. “okay I was wrong that was WAY worse than the first two”

I really love that there are practical reasons for the protagonists to be filming in each movie. In PA2 they install security cameras because of a break in, which we then see gives Micah the camera bug he has in PA1. And in PA3 Dennis is a videographer so it makes sense that he has all the equipment laying around and why his first inclination when things get weird is to film it. They really didn't have to justify the use of cameras but I thought it was a nice touch.

That scene with the babysitter doing her homework, and the oscillator camera panning back & forth between her and the living room, is the scariest dåmm scene in the entire franchise (and a whole lot of *other* horror movies), for me. I think the biggest reason is because I *was* that babysitter so very many times. I spent my entire teens, from 12 onward, babysitting, almost always at night. That is a lot of nights spent in too-quiet houses in too-quiet rooms, with weird noises and movements happening out of nowhere. (Nothing like *that,* fortunately.)

Yes the group including the granma was in a coven. Of course the daughters didn't know. That's why also the grandma was so obsessed with money because they give their first born sons to Toby who's a demon not ghost so they could have good fortune and wealth. It scarred me for life, The Amityville 4 garbage desposal scene, the character puts a piece of duct tape on the switch "to be safe" and yet the dark forces in the house turn on, making a blooding scene... This Paranormal activity 3 is one of my favorites. The other Paranormal activity the marked ones is the best imo. However Paranormal activity 4 gives you more story you need to understand stuff. I agree that PA3 is the scariest, and arguably, the best in terms of lore of the first 3 films. I felt that PA3 wrapped up the Katey/Hunter storyline pretty well. The subsequent films had a few pretty good scares, but the best ones I felt were the ones that barely touched or left alone completely the original storylines. With that in mind, I recommend checking out PA: The Marked Ones next.
