The scene where Kristi is home alone and dragged into the basement scared the hell out of me when I first saw it. I love horror movies and have been watching them for years, but that scene tapped into some unrealized childhood nightmare fuel that messed me up. Please keep watching, at least the 3rd one since it ties in a lot of lore.

WARNING: HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE PA MOVIES............. Ngl, I liked Daniel & Micah but they just didn't take it seriously, same thing for Julie in PA3, they didn't listen & it cost them their lives. They clearly didn't believe in that stuff but had they listened earlier, soooo much stuff would've been prevented in the movies. Then again, it probably wouldn't be much of a movie if they did listen early on lol 😂 And it's pretty sad seeing the aftermath of what happened after he transferred Toby to Katie though. I get *why* Daniel did that but I couldn't have done it, it's so messed up that was seemingly the only option available. And sadly, his decision ultimately got both him & his wife killed and left poor Ali & Hunter with no aunt, uncle or parents.

I LOVE that ALL 6 movies are in the same story line and they did SUch a great job unveiling little gems that tell us how they’re connected and bringing Katy and Michah back not jsut for a cameo but being such a critical part of the series as we learn about what’s been going on and for how long and affecting generations of this family and hearing Ally talk about how Grandma struck it rich. Such a wild thought that a mother /grandmother made the decision to give the next grandson born to the demon in exchange for ru riches!

This remains my favorite film in the franchise and one of my all-time top found footage films made. ~ And no it has nothing to do with my mom starring in it. ^ _ ^ I find this flick genuinely atmospheric and absorbing without ever going too far or silly with its concept, and everything about it just works. But yes, that is my darling mother Vivis as Martine. It will delight all who appreciate her to know that she is still alive and well; just got back from a trip to Seoul. Have to say, she has an impressive track record having survived both "Paranormal Activity" and "Ouija." I can only gird myself and hope that I have the same good fortune. 👻

It always upset me how they fired their housekeeper. Idk I'm not superstitious, but if she's doing good work and it's not like she's performing exorcisms, I don't see the harm. Idk I would want her to feel comfortable, and if she's feeling bad vibes, then go ahead and cleanse it 🤷‍♀️ then I listened to a lot of story's my late Mexican grandma would tell and while I'm not superstitious she believed stuff and who am I to tell her she's wrong. Plus if things were going sideways after she left I would bring her back so quick lol like "teach me what i need to do and we can do it together"

I think the reason they fired her is because she was burning sage all around the house while carrying their 1 year old kid in her arms and directly inhaling the smoke from the sage, which is a lot more harmful to babies and toddlers (and all kind of smokes in general) compared to grown ups or even teenagers since their lungs and airways are very sensitive and very early in development which can cause a serious harm to them. I still think they should've given her a warning and to never to do that again, but at the same time it's understandable especially the mother to be overly protective of her 1 year old kid. It's easy to forget we, the viewers are these omnipotent observes who know in advance there is actually something bad going on in the house, but in the real world most of the people would've had a very similar reaction towards that.

You should watch the third as it completes the films based solely on the 2 sisters. Its a prequel back to their childhood, and its just as good imo. There's one particular scare in it which is one of my favourites in any horror film. The 4th film and onwards mainly feature different characters, they're not as good but I've seen worse I spose! 🙂
