I've often wondered why watching someone eat is so satisfying. Today, while watching this video, it hit me. About 60 years ago, Drive-In Theaters were very popular. During the intermission between the shows, they put on films that tried to get the patrons to go to the concession stand to buy food available there. I couldn't afford it, so I stayed in the car. One of the films was of an elf (not the JRR Tolkien variety), short, with pointed ears, and dressed like Robin Hood. A large countdown clock was positioned to his side, showing you how much time until the next feature started. The animated elf would eat one concession stand item after the other, slowly, and with much gusto. It was mesmerizing. It actually made you salivate, and crave the concession stand food. Same with ReviewBrah. Just missing the clock.
