The long, agonizing fight to the top | 20,000 subscribers

PLEASE READ!! (www.theresemoser.com/jan16blog... - / theresemosershowjumping - theresemoser @ instagram) - I have to start this off with saying THANK YOU. (And I know I haven't hit 20k just yet but I just can't wait with sharing this video with you). I can't believe the moment is here, for 20,000 followers on KZbin. I remember the pride and happiness I carried when I in 2011 hit 1,000- and then later 5,000- another big milestone with 10,000 and now the double. It's crazy that so many of you want to follow my journey with my precious horses and I am absolutely overwhelmed. Thank you.
The intro says 2007-2016, as I created my channel in 2007, but didn't start properly using it before 2011. To those who's been with me since the start, when I in 2011 had two ponies in my backyard and hacked them on the roads around my house. When I jumped chairs and trashcans on them, because I wanted to be a showjumper.
When I had my breakthrough and beat the odds with getting accepted into a top athletics showjumping course in college, and bought my own proper showjumper at the age of 15. When I had to sell him to move on, and a lot of you disagreed with me, but the bigger lot supported me.
But the times I've felt and needed your support the most, must have been in 2014 when I lost all confidence, and had anxiety attacks every time I tried to jump a horse. When I seriously wondered if maybe, I should just give up.
SO many of you say that I've inspired you, which means the world to me, but the truth is, you have also inspired me by standing by me, supporting me, encouraging me, thanking me, by being here and showing your support, you have all inspired me. Every comment, every like, every video view.
You have managed to tell me when I'm being unreasonable, encouraged me when I've been down, congratulated me when I've won, comforted me when I lost. You have inspired me, because you have seen the sides of me, and appreciated my presence in a way I have never felt before.
As cliche as it sounds, I am so incredibly grateful for your support over the years, I don't think I could successfully describe it to you. But thank you, I will be forever grateful.
We never let go. We never give up. And we'll be superheroes.

In this video, I wanted to include the ups and downs. I wanted to inspire, to show you that it's possible, and worth it. I inculded the most meaningful horses I've had, my ponies Chubby and Mac, and my horses Conny, Bea, Molly and Santo. I don't want to hide anything from you because you deserve to see that you're not alone in whatever you're going through. We all struggle, and it's okay. We'll come back stronger.
And lastly, please don't rip the audio. I spent hours and hours on finding, editing and customizing it. I even sat in front of the TV with my camcorder to get the speech, which is from my all time favourite TV show Grey's anatomy.

You took some pretty good falls! when you're down, think of how fortunate you are to pursue something you love. I have loved horses since I was old enough to know what they were. I was very poor growing up so I never got the chance to take jumping lessons. I have horses now, but lessons are really expensive. If I want to learn, I'm going to have to be self-taught. You're very lucky to have that opportunity. Your gray horse is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Stay strong when you get discouraged. Have faith in yourself and it will all work out! Great control . I am soon going to start riding. You really inspired me, I've loved horses for years, but never found the time in my life to start lessons. But know that I have convinced my parents . I'm going to be honest and tell you, that I' ve followed you for probably only 2 months and I didn't relate your videos at all just cause I didn't really even know who's video that may be. ( I just started to subscribe to a lot of riders just to watch their videos when I was bored ) The thing is, that I read your description box for the first time today and then watched the video and felt so emotional... I fought a lot just to make my parents let me get on a horse and because of a bad experience with a shitty instructor I started to feel like it wasn't worth it, that I wasn't worth it... That follows to little anxiety attacks whenever I ride and I guess I can slowly cope with the feeling, but don't really know how to overcome it. Your video inspires me so much and I absolutly loved it! All the support you get, you deserve ! Dear Therese, i really can imagine how you felt after you had so much accidents with your horses. I am in the same Situation. Last year i had quite a few accidents with my horse and i was in hospital too. It is so hard for me to trust him again like i've done before. Especially when we jump higher (1 Meter and higher). You are a rolemodel for me, because you dont give up. You fight for your Dreams and i think with Santo you've found your Partner in crime! I Believe in you and you inspires me so much!
