I also think that throughout history, sailors from many cultures had a great deal of fear for the seas and oceans, bc many of them could not swim. Crazy though, not what you’d expect from hardy men who lived on the sea, right? But it’s true, and they were a very superstitious lot. Many “monsters” were simply misidentified sea creatures, both alive and dead.
@lilacicecream7 ай бұрын
I have come to the belief. there are sea beings in the depths of the ocean that have chosen to hide their sleeves from us, probably at least in the last millennium. I think it probably started to decline after the resurrection, thus going back to such lost stories of lost antiquity. I suspect, though, that as we get closer to the end of the age, they will start(probably already have) to resurface.
@johndolan5133 ай бұрын
Sailors of old refused to learn how to swim to show respect to the sea. These superstitious men also thought the constellation Gemini looked out for and helped sailors, hence the exclamation: "By Jimminy" or by Gemini! This is your useless trivia for the day. Your welcome.

I have a feeling this episode and its teaching might be disturbing to many people, especially women. It’s natural for us to stand up or make excuses for certain stories and truths especially when it comes to sexes. It’s ok to be a little disturbed when it comes to possible history. The Bible is all facts regardless of what anyone thinks or believes. Truth is those falling angles never forced those women to engage in perverted sex against Almighty God. Those women who I believe were many gave themselves freely and purposefully forfeited their own souls. Your comment started with “I think”. I honestly don’t think your comment is what happened. One of the daughters of Manannan Mac Lir convinced her father to actually let her personally attend the church so she could hear this young man sing in person. Mac Lir finally relented. She learned to walk upright. After the service the young man noticed her. She tried to get back to the shore, before he caught up to her, but she tripped and fell. When the people saw her true form, they began to stone her. The young man picked her up and carried her into the ocean. He never returned to land. How did a Calvinist (Joel) become my new favorite online preacher? I know the answer. First it was Chuck Missler's videos I obsessed over, then Dr. Missler went home to be with the Lord. I subsequently missed him terribly and had seen all of his videos multiple times, when suddenly I found Dr. Heiser and had a new online preacher I obsessed over. Then God led me to Joel who has all of the attributes I loved about Missler and Heiser, namely the courage to speak about the supernatural in the same context Missler and Heiser did. Serious, but also with a sense of humor. IOW's all the stuff that fascinates me about the supernatural realm, but that most preachers are afraid to discuss lest that stand the risk of being called a crackpot by a WORLD that considers us crackpots regardless. It's similar to conservatives who fear wearing the "Christian Nationalist" label. I admire Joel's courage to preach the Bible without pulling any punches for the reward of being liked by the world, or at least despised less than preachers in the mold of Elijah and John the Baptist et al. It's official, Joel is my new favorite internet preacher. 👍

I skimmed thru the video but did they mention how the fallen angels mated also with 200 animals? For example fallrn angel with a bear = Sasquatch, fallen angel with fish = mermaid, fallen angel with butterflies = fairies etc. ?
@Joey_McElroyАй бұрын
Not trying to be nasty, a bear I can see, a fish even I can see…but a butterfly? How does that fit? You know what I mean by that…wild…😂 I love these conversations. So glad I found these dudes and also Haunted Cosmos ❤❤

You have alot of variables, firstly. The evil one and his buds mascarade, wearing many hats. Evil likes to mock God's creation. Being unable to match the genius of God they fall to deception. They can't even procreate naturally therefore they will present in various ways to varied persons for the desired effect. Then, realize that we humans have been created in the very image of God and can choose to accept Christ and obtain cleansing and forgiveness along with eternal life. Of this the evil ones are very jealous. They gather intelligence on us in many ways., learning when, where and how to work their shoddy deceptions on individuals. They work with our weaknesses. They hope to get some intriguing reactions from their victims who are unprotected persons without Christ, usually. Also, there are people who seek them out, hoping to talk with loved family members, etc who have died. This is wrong. It pleases the evil ones bc they can get false attention, praise etc. By doing so, they can mislead many, terrify others and lead others into the occult and eventually, to a lost eternity bc they hate us. They hated God and His Christ longer and attempt to lead us away from Christ Jesus.

I think: 1. we are conditioned to interpret them as other things in the secular world 2. Christianity has greatly diminished their power and numbers over the last 2000 years.

Many do. Depends on what the Lord allows. Varies by person. I wouldn’t go seeking it out if your curious 👀

Some are already demonically influenced and Satan has no need to trap them further. Just let them slide down to hell a little at a time. Some may need to be shocked or lulled in.

If a women have union with a man your become one with them. So if a women had union whith a fallen angel you become one with that fallen angel?
@spindoggytheexplorer29157 ай бұрын
Well we become one flesh, Jesus said in heaven like the angels we are neither married nor given in marriage. (Paraphrasing). So perhaps if the angels are locked away the women would still be one with their flesh until the time of their death then maybe it’s down to sheol?

I have a mild constructive criticism. There really is no such thing as a 'soulless' creature. angels, humans, & animals have souls. Nephesh hayyah is not merely life-force. (Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament). But let's assume that's true. Ecclesiastes 3:21 says both humans & animals have spirits. strongly recommend to not talk about creatures which 'have no souls.' Whether good or even is not the point. It's just not factually accurate.

Souls and spirits are two separate things. Animals do have a Spirit, but, not a soul. Pastor Gene Kim here on YT has a good video doing Bible study about this. He uses KJV only, Bible. He's very good.

I like how you guys explain how sirens were women cursed by God including other types of demons like succubus. I also believe post flood or Christ that vampires and werewolves could be real and they are cursed humans of today of something bad they did. I also believe they can be saved but have to love with the consequence till Christ returns. Look at Saint Christopher. Some believe he was a werewolf.

The eath is hollow, the therory that the earth is solid does make since, there is no wat a ball of iron is in the center of the earth, here is why. In order for heat to be produces there have to be fuel, and source. Metal cant produce heat no is it a fuel source. what does course heat and reacuring fuel is gases compressed gases become hot and push heavier liquid out like magma. we have never mapped the inside of the earth nor have we drilled bast the mantel so we tech children false science. The only explanation is compressed gases.

@@cosmictreason2242 Yes. Coupled with the fact that Hebrews 11:13 (living like strangers and aliens, etc) does not mean nor imply that we as Christians are to intentionally share attention seeking discussions which cause us to be mocked even more than the world already does. “Strangers and aliens” means that we are to not live as the world lives, to not crave what the world craves, to be different in a biblical way.

Commited Christian here. I must insert here that I have not found ANYONE who takes seriously the fact that people today ARE having problems with real, actual Bigfoot. I had just found this channel and was glad to think the topic was at least being discussed. I don't know that any of them know about the Ketcham study, etc. People's livestock are being gruesomely killed, their children nervous/ terrified. I have physical proof of these things in my area over 20 + years. I don't mean to be negative, but the folks who called me absolutely horrified, aghast for their child need help... not quotes from English Lit. Class, gentlemen !.
