I saw a fascinating interview with the head hairdresser on SNL and she said that all the cast members have "own hair" wigs which are wigs exactly like their own hair so even if they are being themselves in a sketch they don't have to go through hair again.

As a bald gent. I wouldn't go back. If I walked in my Local, looking like Roy Orbison, I'd lose what little respect I have. I'd have to go to a new pub, get new friends, uproot my whole life. Jim Jeffreys did a brilliant bit on how hard balding is for men! I started losing my hair when I was 19 and an aspiring actor. By the time I was 22 I embraced it and shaved and I’m comfortable with how I look. I make sure I get the bald jokes in before someone else does. When I was online dating I had two girls reply to my messages saying “sorry I’m not attracted to bald men.” What the hell made them think that was an okay thing to say??? I’m a bit fat too, but they wouldn’t dream of saying that because it’s impolite!

I worked at a commerical laundry my first summer out of school. The dishcloths from restaurant and hotel kitchens get real nasty, real fast. EDIT: FWIW, I believe it's actually faster to just wipe dirty stuff down with a cloth and then wash it, and once it gets sufficiently gunky, bung it in the washing bag and get a new one.

I like this show, but their casual leftyism is irritating - eg. picking out Musk and Giuliani for ridicule in a chat about hair loss. Grow up - It’s arrogant to assume the audience of a show about entertainment, shares one’s political bias. Btw, may not be in either of their interest’s to encourage mockery of people’s physical appearance

@jezlawrence7204 сағат бұрын
Jokes on him if he sues, because being bald isn't bad, so marina didn't insult him. She agrees with your point, basically.
@Elwaves29253 сағат бұрын
As well as the above, the joke is on Musk because he advocates for completely free speech, which means you can say whatever you like about him (as opinion) and he shouldn't sue you for it. So Marina is safe saying he's had a hair transplant.
@grahambuckerfield46403 сағат бұрын
Because the self styled ‘free speech evangelist’ sues anyone who either exposes his constant falsehoods or questions why since taking over twitter, his allowing some reprehensible people back and blocking anyone questioning this. Some of us remember when during the rescue of trapped Thai schoolchildren in a flooding cave, his wholly impractical mini sub which could not even reach them, if it worked, was overshadowed by the actual rescuers, divers led by an experienced British caver. Musk on social media and stung by this, called the diver a peadophile hiding behind the US first amendment despite the clear incitement to violence this was, then when sued used vast wealth to beat the case against his of course hugely less well resourced victim of his slurs.
@nikbear2 сағат бұрын
I believe the joke is that there are loads of pictures of Musk of him in his mid-20's with thinning/receding hair, and now in the present day he has an unbelievably full head of jet black hair!! 😮 and yet Musk completely denied that he's ever had anything ever done, even though it's blindingly obvious 😂😅 he's a walking joke🤣
