As it turns out it actually is a lie. Purple doesn't exist in the visible spectrum that we can see. What we see as purple is the result of our brain seeing red and blue at the same time. Every other colors like red, orange, yellow, green and blue exist as pure light wavelength but purple doesn't.

This is so awesome. I would legitimately pay for this. Having a wider gba for my bigger hands seems like a great mod honestly. Another one I would love to see is a lid that folds down to protect your screen when you arent playing... like the DS essentially. I would be interested in doing this myself but I think its outside my scope right now. Cheers!

There was an accessory for the N64 called the Wide Boy. It was an adapter that allowed you to play all Game Boy games via the N64 on your TV. tallboy is nice as you dont have to bend your head down as much to use it and as you said the wideboy is nice for adults because it places less stress on your wrists and forearms. so these are the ergonomic version of these consoles.

Oh, how I love it! Love seeing the weird, cursed Game Boys you put together. Something I thought of with the original Long GameBoy that could be interesting is having some kind of chalkboard paint or something that allows you to use the extra space to jot down notes or draw a small map or write a password. No idea what the best practical or usable implementation of that would be, was just a fun thought!

Yes it will, which is why I think this is such an amazing design, though I would've made it a bit smaller, but it having a ultra wide space but with that 240x160 res screen being slapped right there in thr middle makes it both charming and kinda funny

For plastics, use plastic body filler. It adheres much better, is a little more flexible, but sands harder. Regular body filler is intended for metallic surfaces.

Regarding the little holes left over from the body filler after sanding, you can buy some stuff called spot putty (comes in a tube, which is probably in the same isle as the body filler) to squeeze into. It comes in super handy when you want that flush look. Good luck dude!

You jest, but I've got to say I would love this. I really learned how comfortable a wider hand spacing can be with the split joycons of the switch and just recently with a split keyboard, and I'd gladly give up the ability to barely-but-never-comfortably fit my Advance into my pocket if it meant holding it comfortably and not like I'm Gollum staring at his ring. Also, now that we've had long and wide I can only expect there to be a part three with an extra thick DS, right?
