Hulk saw football as a job. Something he was good at and can make money from. The death in his family was probably a big wake up call that there is more to life then football. He won titles wherever he went. He was the stand out player for teams he played. He is just a smart football player who is set for life and is happy. Not one who is going to fear what happens when he stops playing.

He wrote "No ability" in quotation marks, meaning that's not what Retro believes but it's what the people who looked at him when he was younger believed. So it's not clickbait

Facts those who don't know will say that the fact this guy is well known he deserves a vid that's why RetroRoute gave him one
@darthconquerusАй бұрын
@@imanolfernandez2128 No it isn't? Clickbait is saying something that isn't true in order to attract people to the videos with some sort of controversy, ie if he said it without the quote marks then it's baiting people to come to the video and comment 'what do you mean he has no ability!'. Because he put the quotation marks then it's exactly what the original commentor said and it's what someone said about Hulk at one point or another. So nothing's faked to attract anyone to the video

Great vid. From the way everyone talks about Hulk it makes you think that he never won anything even though he won a lot with Porto!!

Hulk is one of those players we wished he could play at high level football but chose the money to set his family up for life.

He chased money the legal way, got playing time, got a Brazilian National call up , delivered on the field at club level, got truckloads of money for his family. How did he ruin his career???
@SMC01ful2 ай бұрын
The problem with the guy is he was never, ever, Brazilian national squad level. Indeed, it showed how much Brazilian football had declined by his inclusion in 2014. He has some nice highlight reels, he certainly had skill, just not good enough. Chelsea dodged a bullet not buying him.
