Amazing figures that I proudly own! I love both games dearly. Two things often missed about Ellie. The backpack has two straps on the left side that can hold the machetes, and you can pop her legs off at the waist and there is a small hole where you can plug in the nose of the pistol. Pop the waist back on and it looks like the pistol is sticking out of her back pocket.

Personally they should’ve given Joel his backpack and his young head from the opening and flashback ellie should’ve came with an alternate head which is her iconic face from the poster and maybe a hatchet and the hammer from the scars (sorry don’t know the name of the hammer)

Seems like NECA treated these characters with respect and I’m not getting into the debate about the second game since I’ve not played it… but having played Part I, I do like what is here. Seems like a tribute to that first game, although advanced in time. More accessories than even TBS figures from Hasbro would ever have and you have TWO figures with this bundle so value seems to be there. Looks fine to me.

Listen, even though there is some controversy on the second game, play it. Most people who say its bad don't know what good storytelling is. It is one of only two stories (The first being the walking dead comics) to ever make me tear up. It is good, I'm telling you.

$80 is a bit pricey for fodder figures. these are great figures though, and one detail that most seem to overlook is that the backpack has a couple of straps on the side that is used to house one of the machetes. I think the only thing I woulda added to this set is alternate heads for the characters with more enraged expressions (more for photography than anything).

@@tr1ksh0t88 generic looking figures. they're used for background characters if you do toy photography or dioramas, or if you need a victim for a slasher figure like jason. they're multipurpose figures that don't really stand out so you can really use them for anything.

The bolt action rifle is a Remington 700 in 300 Win mag or 300 Winchester Magnum and th Pump action shotgun is Remington M870 Full sized shout gun and the Semi automatic pistol is a beretta 92Fs ionx and the revolver is a Taurus model 66 the rager bladed weapon that looks like a sword is a machete and the other sword like weapon is a Kukri knife and smaller knives are a switch blade and two shivs or shanks

Funny, I played the f*** out that game, the first one. I avoided the second, I know what they did. However this set is beautiful I personally feel like I have a piece of my heart and soul in these figures. A must have, I can't wait for the original set🤘🤓👍🎮🕹 Also you can pop Elle and store her pistol in her pocket, not my idea someone posted somewhere 🤔

I've always thought neca should release civilian fodder for their horror characters. With blood accessories and holes in them for stab wounds and what not. I've even messaged them once telling them that. But they to busy with tmnt stuff now.

I love the game and have bought every release of it all the way since ps3. I really like NECA and have dozens of NECA figures. Sometimes they really knock it out of the park. I think this set is a swing and a miss though. Neither one really looks like the characters. The facial sculpts aren't faithful and the paint work isn't all that hot. For $80. I'd be expecting a lot better. This looks more like it's worth $40,.. maybe $50.

Unfortunately, both Joel and Ellie aren't accurate to how the characters appear in The Last of Us Part II. The head sculpts aren't necessarily awful, but they are also far from being accurate. At least, the clothing and accessories have been nicely done. A third party figure company by the name of CC Toys have already made 1/6th scale figures of Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us Part II and they are very impressive. They are also way more expensive. I paid around $500 for both figures, which were bundled together at the time. They are far superior in every single aspect when compared to NECA's release. MToys also released a 1/6th scale figure of Ellie, which looks great as well. I beat the original The Last of Us for the PS3, the PS4 remaster and the PS5 remake. The Last of Us is my favorite video game of all time. The characters, environments and locations, story, combat, voice acting and music are all top notch. The PS5 remake is essentially Naughty Dog's original vision for the game. Unfortunately, it just wasn't possible due to the PS3's limited hardware at the time. I paid $70 for the PS5 remake, but it was worth it to me. It's a phenomenal experience from the intense and heart wrenching opening sequence until the end credits. The PS5's powerful hardware makes the emotional moments even more impactful. Of course, the realism in the characters' facial expressions further elevates the narrative. I already knew what was going to happen in The Last of Us Part II and I still bought the game when it came out. I'm going to eventually finish it at some point later down the road, even though I'm frustrated with how Joel and Ellie get treated in The Last of Us Part II. When you consider the price range of both sets, I’d say this is the better set. The quality is phenomenal for $80, and the heads aren’t exact carbon copies, but very close to the point where the appearance holds sentimental value. I couldn’t justify spending $500 on 2 figures no matter how much they look like the actual characters. Imo, this set easily gets the job done, and you really get the value out of it for only $80. Don’t get me wrong, the CCtoys set is amazing, but price makes it not worth buying imo.

@@risapierce5234 only place you can really find them now is on EBay, and the Ellie/Joel bundle is selling for $2000+. No chance you’re going to find both of them for less than $500. You can probably get the Joel figure for about $850+ after shipping and fees.
