As a huge American Gladiators fan, I was all in for Knights & Warriors (which also has both full seasons on Tubi). That year was jam packed on Saturday mornings between WWF Superstars, American Gladiators and Knights & Warriors airing almost back-to-back-to-back here in the NY area. The weird thing we have to remember about American Gladiators is that in the very first season (the dark season, as a lot of diehards call it), the audience was supposed to boo the Gladiators, much like the Warriors were here. But the Glads always spoke straight in their promos, even when they were trash talking within their character roles, so they actually gained respect and love from the fans by the end. The Warriors, not a chance, cuz they always kept the characters turned on. Bonus fun fact: Knightmare was originally the Joust trainer on Gladiators, hence his stellar record in Battle Swords. He'd also go on to marry Sha-Ri Pendleton aka Blaze.
