Afton scales above as Agony is stronger than Remnant. 2. Agony shares the same properties as Zero Point Energy. IRL, scientists have claimed that a drop of Zero Point Energy can boil all the Earth's oceans, which would get Multi-Continent. Both are probably outliers, but they do exist.

@@Annihilate0405 There are actually several arguments for Afton The stats are not one of them tho, but he *can* win by sheer hax The standard Agony user has fate, probability, perception, aura, illusion, madness, sleep, pain and death manipulation Not only that, but Afton is basically abstract because he's basically composed of an emotion (agony) And his corruption is a very reliable wincon, and constantly regenerating from absorbing metal would make it hard for Dio to kill him Now, defending against soul hax is a tricky one, but Afton's aura can keep the world at bay Also, a thing in JoJo's no one seems to take into account is that stands almost never outright destroy another user's soul without getting rid of the body first (take Cream or King Crimson for example, we see Avdol, Iggy and Bruno's soul after they get killed by another stand) Not saying Springtrap outright wins, but i'm saying this whole debate boils down to a Stats vs Hax debate where both have genuine win conditions Dio getting rid of Springtrap's body quickly due to the sheer stat difference and time stop, and then hitting his soul is a reliable wincon too though, but Springtrap's several hax and defenses make him stupidly hard to kill

So, I've been seeing people say afton could win by using his soul to hijack THE WORLD which I agree with but the Dio counter argument was THE WORLD could just stop time to prevent that. My question is, can Dio even see ghosts? Stands are essential a manifestation of one's will to fight. Not really ghosts and while this still let's Afton take over THE WORLD it doesn't give Dio the ability to see ghosts. It's possible I'm missing something. But it's also worth considering whether or not Glitchtrap counts as Afton. Because if he does then that gives Afton another way to win with The Glitchtrap virus.

Less than a month after Ben 10 VS Giorno gets dethroned by Joker VS Archie Sonic as the wackiest non-joke commission track, Dio VS Springtrap is here to steal that title right away. And it does it quite well too. Didn't know which route this one would take given the pretty much opposite musical genres for both franchises and characters but at the end of the day it turned out quite nicely if not a bit static at points early on. Most of the track is a build-up for its last arc as even the more intense segments prior to that last arc feel tame in comparison, something which makes sense as it builds an interesting scenario of Springtrap chasing Dio around until a final confrontation between the two characters where they're forced to fight to their full capabilities until one is left standing (I say that but I realistically really don't see how you can make me believe for one second in an animation that Dio can't just rip apart Springtrap before lasering him to atoms but I'll pretend otherwise for the sake of this review and the song it reviews.) This does mean that the track essentially goes crescendo in quality in my opinion as the start is and builds up quite slowly, feeling even a bit redundant at points until 1:36 where the song first picks up. It's at this point that the song becomes really interesting because it feels more dynamic and starts befitting an actual battle even if indirect and/or of lesser intensity while also befitting both franchises' OSTs more directly. And speaking of befitting OSTs I of course cannot not mention the fact that Hell Over Heaven's background instrumental is reused in this song. While it's heard at multiple points it's mostly notable at 2:09 and I gotta say that it's a great way to implement it. It doesn't feel so direct as to make the song sound redundant with Hell Over Heaven but it still sounds similar enough to be directly recognizable which is great, especially since the context it's used in makes it feel completely different too which is extremely interesting. But of course the best part of the song, at least to me, would be what comes after it starting at 2:48 when the last arc of the track arrives and we get a real confrontation between the two. It's still not groundbreakingly brutal or anything to that extent but it really doesn't need to be. Between its generally quite powerful presence to begin with and the fact that pretty much the entire song was a buildup to it it results in this last arc feeling especially hard-hitting in all the right ways until its end at 3:18 which teases an ending to the song with tension still felt in the song as it seemingly finishes. But obviously with Dio and freaking Springtrap of all characters you cannot *not* have a fakeout death and we get the true finale starting at 3:32 in an epic final solo followed by grandiose percussions that somehow manage to make this ending feel grander in scale than most other songs and their respective matchups despite this being a glorified corpse fighting someone who can literally stop time at will. But hey, an epic ending is an epic ending and I sure as hell won't be saying no to such a good one either. It's a great and fitting conclusion to the aura of that matchup even if it definitely is much too intense for a matchup that'd end in pretty much 3s with a broken down robot on the ground if it actually happened (and yes, "but FNAF lore tho !!!!" and I don't care about it because virtually all of it is insanity brought up to insane heights by powerscalers without any knowledge of what the word "context" is.) Overall this track is a nice and appreciable song about a not-so-nice nor appreciable matchup that still manages to deliver very well. It sounds unique and even if it starts a bit slowly it pretty quickly picks up the pace to turn into something that goes from good to really good to really freaking great which is always appreciable in a song (a worse start with a great ending is, to me, much more appreciable than a great start and a worse ending) which, when combined with its thematical fittingness of the matchup, results in a more than solid end product. Amazing job with this as always.

Nice track art and great music! Dio wins this due to badly outstatting, blitzing and outhaxxing Springtrap easily. A lot of people tend to wank the heck out of Afton by not taking into more context of his soul hax. It takes a while for Springtrap to possess other animatronics. Plus, he has no ways to bypass dio's time stop ability (forgot the name of it) and wouldn't be able to see the stand user. So dio can just stop time to avoid springtrap's attacks or have his stand attack him.

A mummified corpse in a broken down Chuck E Cheese mascot costume vs a 100 year old vampire that can stop time, attack at the speed of sound and punch through solid diamond (according to Star Platinum, which has the same strength and speed) Seriously, how was this even an idea?

@@inkchariot6147 what makes this an actual debate is Afton's insane arsenal of hax in the novels So it's a vampire that can stop time, crush diamonds, regenerate, shoot lasers, freeze everything he touches and punch at several times the speed of light vs a pure evil spirit that can inflict instant death, will NOT go down unless you get rid of him entirely, can create illusions and can become a kaiju size agony abomination that corrupts you entirely if you get injured by him once

I am severely unqualified to talk about this matchup but… Both are two recurring British antagonists of their respective series that both essentially put themselves in bear traps to gain more power (Stone mask and spring locks) They both gained immortality from this transformation and have gone on to continue living after a burning building was assumed to have killed them Both of their legacies would eventually form a cult in their names such as Father Pucci and Vanny They both relentlessly pursue a single member of their own bloodline Jotaro Kujo and Michael Afton only to fail and die as a result of their own hubris
