I was on protection details for Sec Def and Sec Navy at different times. Now as a civilian I work a lot with the Secret Service and they are often hugely impressive people. Number 1 best strength is their ability to adapt and deal with changing ambiguous scenarios. BTW they also handle financial crimes overseas. I have gone to more than a few countries with them such as Romania, Cyprus etc on carding cases.

My parents used to have summer jobs at Jenny Lake Lodge which is a resort near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Clintons came and visited twice. When I was up there I was talking to the cook and he told me about the Secret Service watching him prepare the President’s food. I always found that interesting. My mom actually met Bill, he was coming out of a bathroom near the restaurant at the resort she said that the Secret Service basically secured an area and then people were able to move around freely under the watchful eye of the SS. My dad went to the driving range and was hitting golf balls when Bill came up and started hitting balls about six feet away from him. He was surprised at how close he was, but he figured there were SS all around the range watching him. I asked him if he met Bill and he replied, “Why would I want to meet him? He’s a Democrat.”

Especially the nondescript and totally random footage shown when the narrator talks about 'the' nondescript, 9 story Secret Service building on H street 'that has no signage on it' is stunning. Just for fun, stroll or roll through H street by means of Google's StreetView whenever you have a few spare minutes. You will notice that just about any building in that rather fancy street happens to be nine stories and nondescript (and it seems only the Hyatt has any signage, but then that is a building that kinda stands out anyway). The described concrete barriers I could not discover, but I DID notice that NONE of the buildings in the entire street have any garbage cans outside and objects alike on the pavement. Probably they all have service entries on (the) back streets. As I said, this is a nice street. The barriers depicted in the video (most of them are made of steel and not concrete) are near a checkpoint located on the corner of a park and not the Secret Service building. As far as I can determine, just about any building that is located on H street could be that of the agency this story is about, and just about any number of buildings as well.

I have been tackled by the secret service I was at a golf course we're Obama was playing and I wanted a hand shake, so I ran over to him where he was shaking some other kids hands so being an idiot I ran and was tackled. I can tell you they do where bullet proof stuff and it is heavy on a 10 year old.
