By attacking the bus driver, the woman put everybodys' lives in danger. Anybody on that bus was in danger of getting run off the road. This also includes female passengers. (I can see it now: Had that bus driver not done anything, the headlines would have said "Bus crashes into a group of orphans and nuns. women are not safe on public transits, blame the male driver for allowing himself to get run off the road") Not only did he defend himself but also the lives of everybody on that bus.

When I worked for a restaurant chain over 20 years ago we had a manager who was hired because he had experience as a sergeant in the marines. I think he was a drill instructor. Anyway, he had a bad habit of screaming obscenities at the people working for him. At the top of his lungs he would scream the most vile and threatening things to teenagers, mostly girls, some as young as 15 and think that was a proper management style. He had half the crew terrified. He belittled everyone. At the time nobody knew that what he was doing was not only a violation of labor laws, but in that state, a crime. Fed up, a few of my co-workers and I set up a couple of tape recorders and recorded hist rants for almost an hour. We then bypassed the local franchisee and mailed a copy of the recording to the corporate headquarters. Two weeks later the Franchisee had his franchise agreement canceled. The corporation forced them to sell back the franchise. They immediately fired the manager in question then settled with all the affected employees out of court to avoid a public lawsuit which would have included the recording. Oddly, no customer ever complained about him screaming obscenities at teenage girls. I was lucky, I only worked with him a little and he seemed to focus on younger more vulnerable employees. In another restaurant where I worked a janitor was caught helping himself to food right off prep table. That is common place of course, every restaurant has that kind of problem. But what made this particularly bad was he always did so right after returning from cleaning the restrooms and he'd dip his hands right into various food containers and contaminate the food ingredients with his unwashed hands. We didn't know this at first. We repeatedly had customers and employees, including myself, get sick including sick from E-coli and other nasty germs. We just couldn't figure it out. We bleached the hell out of the prep area and boiled everything we could fit into a steel sink with a flame under it (yes we actually put a gas burner under a steel sink and boiled the utensils after bleaching them.) And yet is kept happening. So we set up cameras because the manager thought someone was deliberately sabotaging the kitchen. Sure enough the camera shows this guy coming out of the rest room and walking directly to the prep and looking around to see if the coast is clear and then dipping his filthy feces covered hands right into the ingredients. The next day we confronted him and took a swabbing of his hands and sent it off to a lab to confirm, after he was fired. Sure enough, there were over 30 different contagions from that one sample. After he was fired the problem went away. In another restaurant we had an assistant manager figure out how to reprogram the cash registers to change the tax charged adding on a half of a percent. The restaurant tax was 8% so nobody noticed another half a percent. On a $6000 day that meant we collected an extra $30 in taxes every day. He found out that at the end of the week, if he reprogrammed the cash registers back to 8% that all the drawers would simply be over accordingly. It would not show that the transactions actually were collected at that increased rate. So then skimmed the excess off each drawer and pocketed it. It took five years for the owner to figure this out, catch him, fire him and have him arrested. Over that period he managed to steal over $50,000 from the restaurant. Plus, since it was tax money he was stealing, the state charged him with tax fraud as well. In yet another restaurant I worked in a young manager took a less subtle approach. He walked away one Saturday night with multiple deposit bags. It seems that for several shifts in a row the managers had repeatedly forgotten to take the deposits to the bank. There were 9 accumulated deposits equaling nearly $30,000. A janitor at the local airport reported finding several cut open bank deposit bags in the trash in the men's room near one particular airline's gate and reported it to airport officials who reported it to police who then investigated and found that twenty miles away the next day a huge theft of bank deposits from our restaurant had been stolen. That night there were multiple flights from that gate but none with the manager's name on any of those flights. in those days you didn't need to show an I.D. to get on an airline. You just needed a boarding pass. They never found or caught that guy. But you better believe that was the last time any manager forgot to make their deposit in that restaurant. All the managers whose forgotten deposits were stolen ended up fired as a result. Talk about collateral damage.

Gotta "love" those who get paid NOT to do their jobs. Unfortunately I have to deal with these people making my life that much harder and physically painful. My "favorite" is the specialist physicians my wonderful Primary doctor sends me to, I have Fibromyalgia among a few more chronic and debilitated health problems. I was sent to a rheumatoid doctor for my Fibromyalgia, he claimed that he didn't handle fibromyalgia that my Neurologist can treat that. I saw my wonderful Neurologist yesterday and she told me that the Rheumatoid doctor that my primary care physician sent me to for my Fibromyalgia was the one that needs to treat it! It is Disgusting that someone who gets paid so much money refuses to do the job that insurance and We have to dish out out of pocket! The Worst part is that I am paying with my life, them refusing to do their jobs literally leaves me bedridden and when I do try to live a "normal" life I am in agony.

There is no treatment for Fibromyalgia... Just management for the pain. Which you can likely receive from your general practitioner or a pain management doctor. Neither your rheumatoid nor your neurologist can really help, other than they can prescribe you pain medication, which may or may not help since Fibromyalgia is not a rheumatoid or(as of yet known) a neurological disorder, so they wouldn't be able to give you medication that's proven to help others with Fibromyalgia in the past, since I doubt they know much about the disease due to it not being in their field of research.

I got fired for embezzling $13,000 from the bank I worked at, so I went back and robbed the teller, who replaced me, at gunpoint for another $2500. I had been trading pounds of coke for counterfeit bills with one of the managers at the bank, so I got probation for the phony bills, but nothing for the real money that went missing or the robbery. All 3 managers got fired and less than a year later, the branch closed and is now a Walgreen's. Someone stole most of the money from me, and started an underground magic mushroom farm.

Those sinks are usually divided into 2 or 3 separate sinks. At Burger King, there were three compartments. Wash, Rise, and Sanitize. Those girls were probably about 5 feet tall, so one of them can easily fit in there.

Obviously it all came down to the two incompetent bosses who believed a stranger on the phone, but seeing as how those two were incompetent, it then fell on her to refuse what would be considered "unsafe work." "You want me to take off my clothes? No I won't do that. Oh, so you're going to fire me because I won't take my clothes off, sure. I'll just let everyone know I was fired for refusing the get naked. That's going to reflect well on you." It's just plain common sense... I wouldn't have even done anything had there been a present uniformed officer... It's just common sense... Well, keep in mind, these people were all working for McDonald's. If they were even of average intelligence, they would be working somewhere other than McDonald's. Back when I was in college, I worked in a mall store that sold cookies and other baked goods. Two co-managers and some co-workers there were so freakin' stupid. I mean, really, no ambition, low intelligence, and airheads. If you've ever worked in retail or some other "services" job, it'll become clear really quick why these adults (college/high school students aside) are only good enough for these crappy jobs.

Artis Hughes actually was defending himself and his passenger, one of which was myself. The passenger, Shidea Lane attacked him over not wanting to pay the fare, after Artis Hughes asked her to leave the bus at the next stop. Shidea, then became irate before the next bus stop. Shidea grabbed the steering wheel, spat and punched Artis Hughes repetitively. Artis Hughes, who actually has the right to defend himself and the passengers according to American Public Transportation Association, but not within the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) regulations, did so with a swift uppercut to Shidea's jaw. Honestly, as a witness to that she deserved it. after she had gotten off the bus. Artis contacted GCRTA Transit Police and Shidea called Beachwood Police, the city in which the incident took place. I filled out a statement for both law enforcement agencies. The Cuyahoga County Justice system is so corrupt that they did not use any written statements as evidence. Also, the bus did not have any surveillance cameras installed on it at the time. 3 months after Artis hughes was wrongfully convicted for assault, instead of let go for self defense, Shidea Lane admitted to attacking the driver over a bus fare and stupidly was sentenced to three months in prison. In my opinion, she should still be in prison for how many lives she put into danger.

That's why I don't use social media. I don't want every aspect of my life played out on the 'net. A lot of companies have policies about blogging about anything work related. Common sense should tell you not to brag on the web that you don't do jack at work. Another good idea is to NEVER give info to someone claiming to be with the media. I use to work at a Home Improvement store back in the 90's and one rather attractive female employee on her last day there went swimming in a whirlpool that was on display in the store. Don't think Home Improvement stores can have actual working whirlpools on display anymore because nasty things can grow in the water and attach to the whirlpool surface. When the time comes to sell the display model, the customer can come in contact with it and get sick or die.
