I've had 3 rounds of morpheus8 at 27yrs old and honestly RF procedures scare me. The facial fat loss and crunchy collagen that it creates doesn't seem worth it for lifting the skin. I've noticed an increase in my nasolabial fold (looks like it's started to become lax at age 28yrs), and at this point I'm seriously considering an endoscopic midface lift than these risky, expensive, and little to no result RF based procedures. Sucks cuz I'm not even 30yrs old yet 😮💨
@jennifercarillio84033 ай бұрын
This definitely can occur if the RF is too high in areas where we want to preserve the fat. Settings are higher for submental fat to help rid extra/excess fat we do not want. I'm sorry to learn this has happened to you. Was your treatment done in a clinic type setting or medi spa?

@@Cocoalabella the only result I saw was on before and after photos they took. It’s very minor improvement. I don’t see any more improvement after the treatment. I'm scheduled for Sculptra next month, but now I'm wondering if I should do a Thermage treatment instead? Im concerned with my lower face and jowls. Im losing my jawline and that beautiful V shape to my face. I have extra fat on each corner of my mouth that i learned are called perioral mounds. I'm also getting very fine lines around my lower check area when I smile. The skin looks a tiny bit crepey in this area. The NP who owns the medspa I go to says that Sculptra will help build the collagen and lessen the bunching and drooping of skin around my lower face. She recommends for me 4 total vials broke up onto 2 sessions spaced one month apart.

Dr Kappel my esthetician has Thermage FLX. She said it was purchased from Solta. She said she had very strict training and has been doing this treatment for 12 yrs. However, when I asked her about getting my lower face and neck done, she said they don't do 900 pulses for those areas. They use 600 pulses for this area. Is this a red flag, because in your video you said these areas you use 900 pulses. I'm scared to have her do it because she's not a dermatologist.

I JUST had Thermage CPT done a couple of days ago (FLX isn't yet available in Canada), but it was an authentic machine and done by an experienced provider. My question is: Can I assume this worked even in areas where I felt no heat or pain at all? I felt a few spicey ares (under jawline, mid-cheek and a few jolts on eyelid), but other areas were completely painless, and the upper eyelid (underbrow) area only felt cool, never warm. Undereyes also NO heat sensation at all. Could this have been due to the eye numbing added prior to eye shield placement? I was naturally relieved at how little pain there was overall, and my skin looks normal now (zero swelling or additional redness), but I fear that perhaps it didn't do anything !?! The tech did say I was "doing well" and I was in the appropriate treatment temp range throughout. Your insights would be much appreciated. Thanks so much ... I LOVE your videos, btw. 🙂

@@headab9027 I had the CPT with cooling tip, no vibration except in one area that was painful. The experience was fine, but it'll take 1-6 months before I see any result.
