I was on the hunt for thermal recipes. Thanks for getting right to the recipe without a bunch of blah, blah, blah - like the other thermal cooker vids! Yum! This looks DELISH, too!

Thanks Kay. I will let Olga known. Ironically we have filmed a few more vids we have not edited yet so your comment might excite her to wrap them up. Thanks again. Have a great week. Cheers. Alex and Olga.

Wish these would be sold in USA. I had to order mine from overseas and it cost a huge amount for shipping.

Hi Guys, Excellent presentation of how to cook a Hardie nutritional meal with low energy requirement cooking methods . I'm sure not many travelers would have thought of this cooking option. 😊

Thanks Tjalke. Appreciate the time you have taken to comment. Anything Olga cooks for us on a trip is a bonus and to have such a hardy and warming meal is awesome. Of course when I go bush solo I usually live off the land but that’s for another vid 🤣. Cheers. Alex.

Greetings from Southern California! Hispanic and Native American mix here. I am very interested in this type of cooking. I was wondering, can something like pinto beans be cooked the same way? What would the time lapse be. I tell ya, this would beat watching a big pot over a low fire and probably safer.

Greeting Uncle Nash We reckon you can cool anything in the pot Have fun Cheers Alex and Olga

I have cooked pinto beans in a thermal cooker, and also in a thermos. Cook about 8 hours or more. It works great .

Can we use for cooking condensed milk?
@4motionadventures9343 жыл бұрын
If you are using it as a milk substitute we can’t see why not.

Can you cook beans in this thermal pot? If so how?
@Universalmum2 жыл бұрын
Hello there. Thank you for your question. Hmm 🤔 Are you looking to cook dry beans? Or adding canned beans to a stew? To make a bean stew simply make it as you would on a normal stove just remember to add only the amount of liquid you want to finish with. I am not sure how to make dry beans as I have not made them in the cooker. If I were to though I would bring to boil and simmer for at leastb 15-20 mins before placing in the warmer. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Why not using the diesel heater on the car?
@4motionadventures9343 жыл бұрын
Thanks Cheng. We love the diesel stove but we also love cooking outside and it was also easier to film the clip. Thanks for watching. Have a great weekend. Alex and Olga. 👍🇦🇺

@@4motionadventures934 Thank you so much. If I purchased a car with a 200ah battery and 2000w inverter, how long it will last a 2kw induction cooker without any other main power,thanks

@@碳排放第一人 hey mate. Not sure on the answer. Our cooker is a webasto diesel cooker so it does Not use power as such. The best person to refer your question would be the team at kombi life Australia. They are in Campbeltown. Ring them up and ask for mark. He is a wealth of information. If you get stuck please get back to me and I will dig a little further for you. Cheers. Alex.
