We were given some wild hog meat, enough for only three people. So I diced it up and made turnip stew with it! It was very delicious. We made about 6 quarts, enough for 8 people to have a very good meal! Let me know if you want the recipe we made up!

Absolutely!!! Some people don’t like that we are kids and kill animals, but we understand that we are feeding our families and these animals are really not good for our environment!!! We never kill just to kill!! We have let so many animals walk and actually freed some from fences and such! If we’ve caught enough for dinner then we let the rest go! We are trying!!! Rob you need to try this recipe. I came up with it when i messed up my spring rolls. Ground wild pig browned off. Mix in shredded cabbage and spring onion. Worcestershire sauce. Dash of liquid smoke. Mozerella cheese. Salt and pepper. Let all that fall in love and the cabbage wilt. Cheese melted. Then slap it on a bun with bbq sauce. Amazing like a pulled pork slider

Adrenaline dump is crazy. Good job young men. Rob, I don’t know if this is a standard thang but I learned to run a slice of bread through the grinder at the last to catch all the meat stuck in the screw section. The bread doesn’t hurt a thing and can be cooked in with the meal. It’s probably common knowledge but there is very little waste and it does a good job of pre-cleaning.

Hello!We made Hungarin Gulasch from the Shoulder with red peppers, garlic, onions , cayenne pepper powder, sweet red paprika powder,sea salt, black pepper. we need to take the same weight in onions like the weight the meat is.then you let slow cook in a dutch oven over fire or in a gas grill for 2-3 hours.the cooked onions make a verry nice sauce ! Awesome Video As Always! Love your content, I had watching your brother’s videos for probably six or eight months before I found out you have your own KZbin channel that rocks! Above all the rest by far… When I see some of the neighborhood kids eating with your kids in your videos it reminds me back when I was a little kid… All the neighborhood kids would stay late playing at my house knowing my mom was adamant they stay and eat supper… It wasn’t uncommon for three or four of the neighborhood kids to eat supper 3-5 days a week… Looking back I think she enjoyed it as much as they did if not more…

Robert when you put your grinder away if you put your blade in and parts in a ziplock bag and put peanut oil or vegetable oil in the bag your parts won't rust just a heads up.

Robert, nothing beats a black iron Skillet. I have a similar grinder I bought on Amazon that I occasionally make fresh breakfast sausage. The little grinders work great! It's been awhile since I've done any since it's only me and four dogs but you have inspired me to crank it back up again. I've got plenty of packs of cure to add to it. Now that winter is truly here in Western Carolina it's time to start doing more beef jerky.
