I can answer that question sir yes it does and also you have a visual of what you are looking at when using the thermal but it costs a whole lot of money 😂 and also I used the Flir thermal gun that's the best of all thermals take care.

@@notafuckinpplperson8233 If I may interject, an IR thermometer gun detects the temperature of an object as a function of its IR radiation, while the thermal imaging gun detects the IR heat signature itself. The temperature variation caused by having bees in your walls will not be detectable within error margins by the thermometer. I.e., you will have to take an average temperature of the wall and compare each point to that average to determine whether a section is truly warm, and a potential hive location/ A thermal imaging gun, however, will capture the temperatures of thousands of points on the wall, and automatically colour code based on the temperature average of the image to show you where it is warmer or colder, giving you a much better idea of where the hive may be.
