Check out this new case by Thermaltake, the CTE C750 AIR. This is a general overview and Teardown of this case.
This case is a full tower case providing a wide range of cooling options in a unique orientation which should provide plenty of cooling power.
The CTE Cases come in a couple of different models (all of them might not yet be available). Check out this case using the following links. These are amazon affiliate links that do benefit the channel at no additional cost to you. If you choose to use them, a huge thank you for your support!

That bottom filter is indeed a PITA to put back in, because it's not a single sled, but two separate ones, and it's not rigid enough so it may go in the first but then droop down a bit such that it doesn't go straight into the second. It's a bit of a waste in you don't plan on doing custom watercooling in it. The C700 would make more sense, especially if you're using an air cooler on the CPU. The CTE concept at this size doesn't work with all air cooled parts. I just finished a WC build in it so that's where my perspective is coming from. It's a fine case, but their advertising at first was that it can take 4 430mm radiators. It only takes 3 and they only officially support 3, so there's that. It can actually take the Corsair 280mm radiator at the top, with the tubed coming out to the left, closer to the MB. Fans on the top can actually be on the top, if you're fine with omitting the filter, but it's likely being used for exhaust so that's fine. The other commenter mentioned the front panel. Kinda happened to me too. The right side is where they expected more of the cooling hardware to go. The distance between the fan bracket and the filter is larger. You could push/pull a 30mm rad there...for some reason. Because of that, and the glass of the Glass version being so tiny, I doubt the air flow on that model would be a problem. The little pump stand is pretty useless unless you have a TT pump, but it definitely is sturdy. And of course, get a ton of extensions. With any kind of cable management inside and outside of the case, you're 100% going to need them. So, I took my own advice and went to replace the clips that hold the front glass panel and...there aren't any installed by default. What I thought was the weak clip holding it was actually the clip holding the left cover. It came with no clips to hold the front glass panel and it was just happening to clip into the frame itself! I added the two clips and now it holds pretty sturdily.

Yeah I found this out the hard way today, maybe not an issue while building, but once complete and on a desk it's definitely a PITA, I won't be removing that again in a hurry, that being said, it appears to be the only downside I've found, all in all I love this case

UPS damaged mine pretty good, shearing off a few of the panel studs. I'm waiting for a replacement, but I did get a chance to mockup my hardware. The back can accommodate an extra set of fans for push/pull (using Arctic F3 420mm). Fyi,

I got the CTE could be like octagon shape or hexagon could make fancy look for case and this is cool concept too as tower cases have top open one too

Hi davew4304, that's awesome! It is a cool case for sure, I need to revisit this case and do a build in it with the replacement. I have lots of cool ideas for it. Are you replacing the filters with something specific? I wish you logs of success with the build, have fun and thanks for watching! Let me know how the build works out!!!

@@HardwareArtisan it arrived early big shout out to the Amazon seller. I got the white 750 air. This thing is monstrous! lol. I couldn’t be happier with the room in this case and the ease of cable management. Not to mention my options for cooling. So far I only got 1 360 aio a total of 13 fans in it but I think I’m going to soon do a custom liquid cooling loop for the cpu and gpu with all this room inside. And what I was saying about those filters I’ve just never been a big fan of fine mesh filters I’ll take all the ventilation I can get. But I also have my pc in a place where dust is almost non exexistant though . I had to take a moment to say something incase case manufacturers are ever browsing comments and wanna see a real honest option about stifled airflow that are fine mesh filters. I just run without them but that’s just me. But yeah your video was the selling point for this case and I don’t regret buying it one but. It’s my favorite case I’ve ever bought . Can’t wait to see what revisit you do to yours and hopefully I get inspired to copy it 😁

I bought that exact same case. It's probably this batch of recently released cases, but the white shades don't match. The packaging was poor, at best, and the clips were coming apart. I like the concept of rotating the matherboard.

That's very interesting. Of course the most interesting thing would be to know how the F does one connect all the peripherals to a vertical mainboard?

What I really want to know is whether the Tempered Glass or the Air model is more aesthetically pleasing with it's front panel piece removed - the glass in the case of the TG and the mesh in the case of the Air. Both pieces unnecessarily reduce airflow and I will definitely be operating my case with dust filter only.

Hi hiddenusers, Great question. I haven't looked at the TG in person, but yes, it would have filter material on the front mesh panel. I looked at the user manual, it shows it having a filter there. Thanks for your feedback and support, i'm glad you found the video useful. Thanks for watching!!!

Could’ve been an amazing case imo and perfect for the build I’m looking to do. The IO access is stupid. I would love if someone sold a alternate top so I can access all of my motherboard ports without trying to open the PC and routing cables.
@davew4304
@davew4304 7 ай бұрын
I also don’t like that part of this case. I have in mind to cut out a hole and trim it up with either rubber or copper or maybe aluminum around where I cut to access the io. Or even cast my own rubber grommet with some cheap poly compound

you think this is better than the tower 500?

It’s huge. I’m buying a c700 which is not as enormous. It needs another cable port on the back top, I am putting it under my desk and it’s silly to route cables up over down out and then back up.

Big question. The brackets that hold the front and rear fans. I won't to install custom 3x420mm RADs. Could you measure the distance inside the case top to bottom on both sides for me please before I press PLACE THE ORDER button? :) I know that the manual says only AIO 420, but I've seen already one build with 420 custom...
@Dexx1s
@Dexx1s Жыл бұрын
Measuring the bracket won't actually be accurate. You may not be able to install anything above 465mm long rads or so, especially if it's thicker than 30mm. Thicker than 30mm and it will impact the bottom fan bracket, making it raise up a bit. On the right side, you'd need to take out the top right fan if the rad is longer than about 455mm. You'll also have to lightly screw in the rad, slide it in, and lift it up then screw it in, since the angle going in would cause it to impact the case. I have an Alphacool NexXxos 420mm 45mm thick rad on the left and a Corsair XR5 420mm 30mm thick rad on the right. I have to screw in the 45mm rad after I've actually closed in the bracket because it's too long to just go in, in the final position. The slot beside the motherboard can probably take a 30mm thick rad too, if you have something on the right.

It needs a top hole for the cords to go in from the top. Would be awesome for standing desk users. If I do get one, I would need to cut a hole in the top so I can connect things from my standing desk.
@Dexx1s
@Dexx1s Жыл бұрын
The hole is on the back. A hole on the top would look terrible and would possibly require more length than just having it go through the back and out the hole above the PSU that they're intended to go through, especially for a sit stand desk.
@ImmolatisEternus
@ImmolatisEternus Жыл бұрын
@Dexx1s reviewers have said that cord extensions are needed because the cords are routed to the back, and that is like 10+ inches of routing from mobo to the hole in the back. For a standing desk, going straight up from the top is shorter distance to the standing desk when the computer is on the floor.
@zig131
@zig131 11 ай бұрын
Nah it needs a hole in the "side" panel. Any sensible person is going to have the glass side panel facing out to the room, with the opposite side facing a wall (with enough clearance to let the PSU breathe). I am going to cut into the metal side panel so I can hide all the cables behind the case itself.

Why would you want all the cables coming out the top. That's janky. On the plus side, I guess you don't have to worry about GPU sag. Just, um, everything else being weird. I'd have to see a build in it before I pass any kind of judgement though. Maybe it works for a ton of harddrives build. Not sure where I'd mount my AIO RAD.

@@Dexx1s Is this the same for the rear panel cover? After building mine, the top left hand side of that panel no longer clips into place so i've salvaged a magnet for it but the magnet is slightly too wide so the cover still sticks out top left, I didn't realise what the bag of clips was for (yes I know, I didn't read the instruction manual)
@Dexx1s
@Dexx1s Жыл бұрын
@@ScouseWill79 There actually weren't any clips for my front panel at all. The panel was literally barely hanging on to the case itself instead of clipping in. I have the case up against a wall so checking it is a bit of a hassle. Look at any of the other sides and take note of how it goes into the clip and check that the back panel has those. I really don't know WTF Thermaltake's QC is doing. It's also not in the manual IIRC.
@ScouseWill79

I've looked at all of the other sides and can't notice anything different, the panel in question doesn't appear to be bent at all that I can see so not sure what the issue is, although the front panel bottom left (closest to the side glass panel had a slight bend in it that I eased out). I contacted TT on social media yesterday but waiting to hear back
