Here we have started to talk of calculating the microstate via no. Of ways where ni particles can arange themselves in gi degenerate levels of Energy state Ei. But first of all, how at the very first place can we say ni particlea have entered Ei. Why dont we consider the ways where total of N particles can be distributed into G different energy levels.?

see gi factorial is not g1.g2.g3.. its gi(gi-1)... so at the send its g1! ×g2!...

i the the index of states so g1 is the degeneracy of 1st energy state
