Thermostat Replacement - Range Rover Sport or LR3 (Overheating Fix!)

This how-to video will show you the full thermostat replacement procedure on a Range Rover Sport or LR3. If the thermostat becomes closed or faulty, the engine will be unable to circulate coolant to the radiator, resulting in:
1. Engine overheating
2. Loud fan noise once the engine warms up as it attempts to cool
Make sure to check your coolant level to ensure your overheating is not simply from low coolant.
I have now done this replacement twice on my car over the last 7 years, it's a very common failure point, but luckily it's also extremely cheap and easy to repair. It's entirely possible to replace the thermostat for under 50$ depending on the brand of thermostat you purchase.
