Most gorgeous version I had this on my phone but not anymore!! Thanks to whomever put this up.. Her voice was AGAIN so pure. They eventually found BOTH the HMS Erebus & the HMS Terror in 2014 and within 2 yrs of each other. MY TRIBUTE: This was usually sung by men with heavy Maritime accents at quite jauntier speeds. At the time she recorded this, the ships were still in their ice water mansions as the late great Gordon Lighfoot wrote in another song about lives lost in sailing. Now, Sinéad has left us. She struggled with pain in her heart. ALL HER LIFE. Her legacy will be her amazing singing, but also her fearless ness which will stand, as she was not just ahead of her time, but also on the RIGHT side of history. We now know the Pope AND his successor Benedictine XVI KNEW AND didnt mind that admitted pedophile priests were NEVER taken away from their victim pool of kids. They just shuffled him to another parish. Before the internet, this was very easy and WAS the PROTOCOL worldwide. FROM Spain to the sub-Arctic to the Catholic missions in Africa & South America. Why do people think it's MOSTLY nuns who deal directly with the children. My aunt was the general vicar of a G7 nation. First time a woman ( even with a masters in education) held that position. It was unthinkable until the church acknowledged the sins of their "fathers". I know Sinéad WAS MORE than that famous shocking protest on live TV, but my point is she was SO fearless because she cared less about the money, and career ( it WAS very reckless & upsetting to networks & advertisers& music industry ...yeah right) then about standing up to the church who victimized 100s of thousands. Just the molesters, not even protesting genocide crimes agsinst women,etc...but she GOT THERE. She also was the product of some of that. I guess I respected her for caring. The industry never forgave her. But the church did....yeah. Enjoy Eternity Sinéad you small girl with the big voice and the heart of a bull. My family is from there. Ireland should be PROUD of her. Thx to Annie Lennox, Peter Gaberial who brought her ON TOUR &yea Bob Geldolf. I think hes a dick but whatever.HER GLORY BEGINS...is what my family faith Catholicism says. I will MISS this himan being.❤❤❤❤

Us longtimers and hardcore drudges bought this album when noooooooo one else was interested in 2002(?) Sinead was famous for shitty album covers and this one took the cake-she appears to be mischievously COPPIN’ A SQUAT in the elderberry bushes! But leave it to her. The album was/is BRILLIANT. Vanguard put it out in the USA, but, as is usual with Sinead … it was poorly promoted and swiftly forgotten. A shame, because it is a secret GEM of all gems. (If Rod Stewart squawked-out these same exact tunes, the women would have been slipping all over themselves to buy it.) Sinead. Genius but not in her lifetime. #BuyItIfYouFindIt
