I saw him in Honky-tonk Kansas City in 69 young with long hair in leather jumpsuits and his nine way Leo energy was intense but not as revealing as this performance, of the greatest performer that will ever walk this Rock, tipping a hat to Otis who wine and dined them when they were broke.

Yes. I cry each time i watch it. Its over without him. When you see them lice its Mick and Charlie you would leave impressed with. Every time. Now with the thoroughly pedestrian and bland Steve Jordan on the drums its not there anymore. Not to mention Keith is a shell of the player he was even here. Its all Mick's riffs on the new stuff.

I remember the first time I saw them perform this on the Licks tour at the Beacon Theater in NYC. It literally brought the house down that night. Half the audience was in tears and the other half were in awe watching the best rock n roll band on the planet.

Brian you were fortunate to have attended the two shows, even though the Paris show is part of Four Flicks ( I have it) it deserves a stand alone Blu ray release, hope we get it down the line, although looks like the NY Prudential show from 2012 is next for general release, but usually it's followed by a second release soon after, fingers crossed 🙏☘️

Throw in the fact Keith is a spent force and its crazy people are all excited for the new tour and ready to pay the prices ive seen. The whole reason the Stones were so great live aside from Mick is gone. Its a Mick solo venture. The new album is all Mick. The last two albums and then some are Mick's riffs. Keith can't even be bothered with coming up with something. I think this band is the best there ever was but oh my god this must stop.

He’s not Otis Redding, but he’s sure as H… Mick Jagger.
