My guess for the joke is basically every youtuber called it Tetris. I wonder why they didn't correct themselves when Sonic and Robotnic/Eggman were talking. Also, the autosubtitles aren't very good for translating Bubble Shield Sonic. I was expecting that If you turned on Subtitles, you'd be able to translate Sonic.
