After watching "Elsewhere and Elsewhen", I remember Phillip Witterbane saying that it took him years to find all of the Glyphs and feels like that the island is trying to hide them from him, while with Luz she was able to find them without any problems within a month due to them appearing right around her, do you think maybe the Titan might actually be good this whole time and allowing Luz to find the Glyphs because they believe Luz is more worthy of learning magic due to her good hearted nature while Philip Witterbane is not due to his cold hearted nature against witches?

Or there are two titans, two entities. In episode 'Echoes of the Past', the wall painting showed two creatures, one having the same bone head like King and the other one black creature, fighting between each other with a falling star or some astrological event in the background. What if who Belos is communicating is that black creature, that dark titan and Luz is getting a bit of help from the other one. Could also be a reason why Phillip/Belos body is corrupted, the dark titan corrupted him, taught him coursed/dark magic.

Hmmm, there's also that distorted voice from In-Between realm that appeared in "Yesterday's Lies", that just said "Noceda" after Vee was captured. Voice that may or may not gave her idea of trying to reach her mom for help... I saw many fans speculating how this voice may belong to the Titan himself, and I believe it supports this theory. About the entire "dark titan" theory, I think it's on to something, especially when you consider that, in flashback Eda had in "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door" from a perspective of the Owl Beast, we see Collector capturing the Owl Beast on the island that seems to have skull different to the one we see on the Boiling Isles. Furthermore, I believe that remains of the creature that make up this island is the one we see on the mural, battling King's lookalike in "'Echoes of the Past". Both have longer snouts, compared to the Titan of Boiling Isles. It could be that creators want to get us on false track, given this is just Owl Beast's memory of event that could be very different from what actually happened (also the reason why we don't see Collector's face). It would be fascinating If fauna of the Boilling Isles sees Titan skull as more animalistic, while witches and humans see it as more anthropomorphic, but I highly doubt it. I'm also interested to see what is Collector's relation to the Titan, since the mirror that's crucial in getting into contact with Collector resides in Titans skull. Perhaps Collector somehow tricked Phillip into doing something that was beneficial just to them. Tho honestly, when we finally meet the Collector, I would love If it turned out they were just a huge cinnamon roll, or someone who is more rolled up rather then actually evil. As I stated before, we already saw characters being first introduced throw perspective of other character's memories, only to completely shatter our expectations, just like they did with Alador. I think there’s a fifth glyph. In the beginning of the flash back Eda and Lilith said there are five humors to the Titan. Humors are also called flems, and Eda said that it was these flems that are responsible for the magic in a witches bile sack. So if flems = glyphs, then there is still one glyph left for Luz to find.

The reason “owl lady” was the solution that Darius probably came up with, is because he (Darius) saw how Eda’s curse messed up all magic in the area of the music. My guess is that Darius was suggesting that Eda may be able to “corrupt” the draining spell, which is why Raine said that they doesn’t want to put her in danger again. However, as far as we know, the coven leaders don’t know about the glyphs yet, including the two spies. ¡EDIT! Forgot Raine’s pronouns because I am running off so little sleep that scientists could run a case study on me. Rock on, LGBT+!!

I have two theories for Darius and Alador’s split. 1: They could have both had feelings for Odalia as it seems Darius has more animosity to Alador. 2: Alador could have been the Abomination Coven head instead of Darius and competition drove them apart.

Two more things to point out: First, while yes, Faust did sell his soul to devil, he has studied most if not all types of scientific fields. He turned to magic in an attempt to figure out how the world works. Some Characteristics of Goethes Faust can be found in THOs Faust, like being a big know it all and narcissistic. I found that was aneat little nudge of the crew. Second, Raine whistled in their tea the first time we saw them drinking it. At the time it was just a little thing most didn't pay attention to, but now that we know what it means, it is cool to see this type of consistency and foreshadowing. Those little details is what makes the owl house just a great show to enjoy!

I wrote up this theory recently about Alador, Darius, & Odalia. Long and short is that Odalia convinced Alador to augment his Abominations with Tech. Darius thought it was a cheaters way to results and got good the old fashioned way. They became bitter rivals because of Odalia. That's why the Blights want Amity to beat him or take his Coven head role. "Proof" that working smarter is better than working harder.

Theory: Harvey and Gilbert's decision to have Willow study the abomination track instead of the plant track (along with Harvey being in the abomination coven) was likely heavily influenced by this experience, which I would imagine tainted their opinion of the plant coven, along with not wanting their daughter to serve under Terra (since they were around the same age as Darius, were skilled enough to both make it into the 'IFWOT' and one of them being in the abomination coven, they might even know Darius, despite neither of them going to hexside)... Raine not wanting to get Eda involved may have been because Darius’s thinking is Eda’s curse could infect and destroy Belos’s spell, like how her curse infected the bard spell she and Raine played in Eda’s Requiem, but that would sacrifice Eda in the process which Raine doesn’t want to happen because they care too much about her. The Draining Spell is bound to use a technique based on the Basilisks’ magic draining ability, hence why Belos brought them back to study that ability. I feel also only the Coven witches will be affected by the Draining Spell, meaning covenless witches (i.e. those without a sigil) won’t be affected and retain their magic ability. They and glyph users will be the only ones able to stand up to Belos. It’s very likely Belos has been planning this Day of Unity for several decades now, slowly bringing together all the pieces like the portal door, teleportation spell, Basilisks’ magic draining (which led to the Coven sigil), and getting as many witches as possible into Covens and giving them a sigil, using scare tactics like ‘wild’ magic and punishing those who won’t join a coven with petrification. He has meticulously planned out this entire thing, and it’ll all come together with the eclipse.

Interesting. My thinking is he studied the basilisk's magic draining ability to create his own method, apparently using the coven sigils. According to the draining spell, the magic from all the members of a coven will be channeled through that coven's leader into another spell, my guess a massive-scale version of the teleportation glyph Philip used. Such a glyph would likely require an insane amount of magic energy. Is it known how many basilisks Belos brought back? Vee and a few others escaped, but how many are still there? Cause if he brought back a lot of them, then hypothetically it could be to use them as part of the spell. It would seem his plan is to teleport the Titan's Head to Earth with all the witches of the Boiling Isles, the culmination of gathering everything he has done (learning glyph magic as Belos, the Coven system, the basilisks, the portal door, the eclipse, etc.). That makes me wonder how the Collector plays into all this. Are they the one that told Philip of the Day of Unity and all he had to do to make it happen? Has the Collector been pulling the strings, guiding Belos to make the Day of Unity happen as part of their own plan? Does Belos not realize what the Day of Unity will actually do? Is the Collector the true villain of the Boiling Isles?

@@Blitzo8390 yeah just the coven witches, and the whole ‘wild magic’ thing is very likely a term Belos created to scare witches into joining covens. ‘Wild magic’ is just magic. My theory is witches have access to all types of magic, but their coven sigil cuts off their access to all but the type their sigil represents. It also allows Belos to control them, paralyzing them like what happened to Raine. The Day of Unity will require a very large amount of magic, plus Belos wants to rid the Isles of ‘wild magic’ which means getting rid of magic, and so he wants all witches in covens for both those reasons, to power the spell and get rid of magic (like killing two birds with one stone). However, covenless witches wouldn’t be affected and would retain their magic ability, leaving them and glyph users to fight Belos. Glyphs get their magic from the Titan, so if the Titan’s on Earth then glyph magic will work there (probably only as long as they stay on the Titan). I just realized too, that Belos’s staff uses glyph magic, so by bringing the Titan to Earth he can return home but still retain his power.

So all the coven witches would become powerless and possibly teleported to Earth along with the Titan head, leaving covenless witches back on the Boiling Isles (and no idea what the head disappearing would do to the Isles, if anything).

The sketches or whatever he shows for the day of unity looks like just normal human infrastructure, I think belos is bound to the isles because the titan is keeping him alive, so now his last chance of going home is connecting the human realm to the isles. We also know the collector catches demons, i think them getting all the demons is their end of the bargain to help with the day of unity.

Honestly, I was absolutely floored by the revelation of Rain faking it, and Darias being a full defector. I thought maybe head turn out to be more sympathetic to the cause, maybe, even having a seen were Hunter uses the bond the build to turn him. But I did not think he would be full spy. Which as someone mention below raises some question about Eberwolf. Besides seen as working together its worth noting that they both seemed to not like Kimikmora getting involved. I put that down to the toxic attitude fostered by Belos. But maybe its because they both are defectors hard to say. But if they are three heads going rouge, not to mention loosing his former top enforce, Lilith, Belos has got to revise his hiring policy. Or not, I like the results of the current one. But I guess what I really love about this is Rain not being the love interest in distress cliché. Beign captured has not taken away her agency.

I honestly think that the ending that the show is working towards with a character like Luz being the main character is that the Day of Unity WILL happen, but it won’t be the bad ending. Luz has found a home in the Boiling Isles, and we have a character like Vee finding a home in the human realm. The thing that makes The Owl House great is that it’s characters (especially the ones in the emperors coven) have complexities that reveal a more human side to them, while Belos suppresses that. Most of the characters, even ones loyal to Belos, don’t want the Day of Unity happen, they just want to have fun with magic. The ending I see is that the Titan will come to the human realm, which is the source of magic on the Isles, and Luz will spread her glyph magic with other humans while the habitants of the Boiling Isles will tear away from the coven system and begin to use magic as they please. Something that I haven’t seen mentioned is that Phillip Whitebane is from the 1600s, which is very much colonial America. Phillip / Belos is a colonist, and the idea of using native people to fulfill their own goals is not far out to him. Being back in the human realm, he will see that sort of mindset is very much obsolete.

I’m still sad Netflix did not pick this show up, I would have loved to seen the show kept the original designs, I won’t lie the show we got it’s not bad but, the forced into school plot line that Disney forced in, I’m honestly surprised we got a second season. Someone mentioned in their video on this episode that they think the head of the construction coven is in on the rebellion aswell, since raine knocked on the brick and it was moved away, they also theorised that the head of the construction coven has tunnels all throughout the castle so that Darius could get his message out to the others in the resistance

One thing i notice from Eda's requiem is that when Eda, Raine and their team finished the mission of releasing wild witches, they passed the nine coven flags and returned their basement when dawn broke. i notice that the sunlight only shine bright the Abomination, Beast Keeping and Bard. I guess it hints that Darius, Eberwolf team up with Raine, which may confirm it in this episode

Yet another great episode. It was so nice to see how Eda and Raine met and that ending defiantly surprised me. Once again Dana does something unexpected, this is like the third time, first, we thought Vee was an evil doppelganger because of our genre-savviness but it turns out she was really sweet and not evil, then based on his first appearances we assumed Darius was at worst evil and at best a jerk but then we learn there a lot more three-dimensional than that and maybe even are working with Raine right now, and now here we assumed Raine was at least partially under the control of Terra and it would take the usual methods to break mind control trope we've seen in many other series, again we assumed what was going on based on genre-savviness but here they either broke out of the mind control on their own or were never under it to begin with. That makes Raine even cooler now, but it also shows how overconfident Terra is not only in the fact that she's using an inferior form of mind control compared to others but also in that she assumes it's working properly. This episode also shows how similar Terra is to Belos, she's just as bloodthirsty and was that way even 30 years ago in the flashback, she's overconfident like Belos with how he seems to think his plan will succeed despite how his Emperor has been falling apart around him over these last few episodes and based on this episode it might be possible that she's been the only Head of the Planet Coven, given her age it's very possible that she was appointed 50 years ago when Belos first assumed power if that's the case that she's been working with Belos for probably longer then anyone which is why he seems to trust her so much as seen back in Follies at the Coven Day Parade. If any of the other Coven Heads have been around since Belos rose to power then it would stand to reason they are completely loyal to him which is why he choose them as the Coven Heads, but with how much time has passed some of the originals have either died or are probably incapable of doing their duties anymore, and thus Belos has had to replace them with people who are not completely loyal and are acting against him like Raine and possible Darius. Once again, he's overconfident.

I thought Eda dropped out after the curse. I don't recall her ever being expelled. I don't think Raine does fully remember fighting Darius alongside Eda very clearly. It's possible they figured out the tea was a problem on their own. But once you're deep undercover, you're DEEP undercover. There's no going back. Raine knows this and can't even look back.

I personally believe that terra snapdragon did have a child that being Willow unless I missed something like a post from Dana Terrace or a background detail in one of the episodes then I'm sticking with this theory my reasoning being we never see Willows mother she only has two dads and unless in the boiling isle men can give birth then it's most likely that they adopted Willow and if she was the daughter of the head of the plant coven it would make sense why she is so powerful.

Spoilers for the new episodes of OWL HOUSE!!! - - - - - - - - - You've been warned!!! - - - I'm just too excited and brimming with theories to not say this; So in the new episode we find out about Belos actually being a witch hunter, we know that to keep him from turning into a monster he needs palismans - what if the door needs to be made from palistrum tree wood to have sentience reason it has an eyeball and folds into a briefcase -crafty work- also from a previous episode we were talking about how Hunter and Eda are very similar - in the new eipsode in Belos' mind we see a memory of Philip's brother walking away from a burning buidling with a silhouette of a witch that have the similar features to Eda's family. I believe that they had family but in the end Belos killed his brother as he "betrayed" him for having a family with a witch- made a Grimwalker which I think is our version of an homunculus, and changed it so that the other Golden Guards have more witch like features to fool other witches, Belos is porbably no stranger to mutilating himself to make his ears pointed too as his ears are much smaller than other witches. Darius is seen being sad because he probably knew all along what happened to his mentor and hated what Belos was doing when he made Hunter. That's why he teamed up with Raine to help take down Belos. I honestly believe that the drainging spell will just push the magic into the human realm and that's when V comes in to help save the people there. After everything is said and done, I think they'll throw the portal door into one of those wormhole pools and younger Eda will find it in the past. It will be sad though, Luz having to choose the Daemon realm or the Human Realm. I hope she chooses the Daemon realm because she has friends and a life there, but I know the choice is much harder than it is for me.
