“More similar than they are different.” You nailed it, boys. It can be frustrating for a less experienced runner to see basically the same shoe everywhere. But that’s not on you guys! After trying a dozen offerings this year, my rotation killer ended up being the Mach 6. Surprising! Cheers, guys-

A very similar shoe. If you are a heavier runner, maybe you should go for the Prima. Lighter runners maybe choose the Rise. However, you should always ask yourself whether it might be better to go for an Ultraboost. The 5(X) has also been given a new upper and a new sole. But be careful. There is an Ultraboost 5 and an Ultraboost 5X on the market. A difficult decision.

I bought a pair of the Adidas Supernova Stride to try out before stepping up to the Rise. I managed to get them on sale in Canada for $80. I really like them. I have a high instep though and i found the very bottom inside shoelace eyelet felt like a pressure point on top of my foot, but after 2-3 weeks of wear, the pressure point is gone, so clearly my fat food has stretched it enough to be comfy. I also have wide feet, but find these shoes fit very well in regular width, I wouldn't feel the need to go up to the wide size unless it helped with that higher instep pressure. But to be honest, these are my first pair of proper running shoes as I've only started getting in to running in the last 2-3 months and my regular trainers just weren't up to the task of cushioning a run and I got a serious strain from my ankle to my heel that meant I couldn't run for a week, so that's when I bought the new Supernova Strides.

Ive got the Rise, and after a short walking, testing my feet started burning. Shame, because almost everyone praising the heck out of these, while i found the cushioning close to the asics pulse line... Maybe next time adidas...
